We are so glad that you enjoyed the outstanding cleanliness of our units. We do readily advertise that we don't offer A/C in our units, as this amenity isn't a typical thing in Estes Park due to our 7,500 ft elevation. Wishing you well!

My kids and I make several trips to Estes during the year and this was our first time staying on this side of the town.
Very peaceful location with the sound of the river literally in the backyard and beautiful trees surrounding the cottages!

It makes us so happy to hear that you enjoyed our natural surroundings and convenient location with your children, Kelly! We really appreciate being on this particular side of town -- it's quieter, close to more restaurants, close to the main gate of RMNP, a grocery store, gift shops, etc!

Beautiful grounds, great views, and the cabin was just right. Spacious enough for two, and well maintained overall. Close to the downtown area as well.

This cottage compared to the economy cottage is so much better. Everything is perfect. Compared to the economy cottage, the fixtures and appliances are much newer and there are mixed water taps. The cottage is beautifully decorated with bear theme and is spacious. While we did not use, there is also a beautiful bathtub with a rooftop window for stargazing. The bed is comfortable and the kitchenette is equipped with the necessary utensils, plates, kettle and microwave. Outside the cottage you can enjoy the view mountain and river. Love this cottage.

Overall the room is clean and spacious with a small kitchenette. The cottage is lovely and has a homely feel and we can see that much thoughts were put into decorating the room. The bed is comfortable and shower has enough water and is hot enough. The river view is really beautiful. However, it would be perfect if the following improvements could be made: 1) put a hair dryer in each room instead of having to request from the office 2) the toilet seat cover is missing 3) there is no kettle for boiling water.

Thank you kindly for this feedback, Larry. As suggested, we will definitely consider placing the hairdryers in the rooms rather than making them an item upon request! We want our guests to feel right at home, cozy and comfy!

A decent place to stay for a few days for couples. Overall it was clean, bed was comfortable, had a small fridge and stove, which is nice. If you have more than 3 people, your going to be on top of each other.
The bathroom set up, however, is not user friendly at all. The shower is just crazy small! My husband and I are smaller people and we both had a hard time showering. Also, there are two sinks- one in the bathroom and one outside in the bedroom and both have two faucets running hot and cold separately. The faucets are not close so trying to get "warm" water at the same time was impossible.
It is a lovely location, being right next to the river but being close to the park entrance is probably the biggest plus for us.

We appreciate this feedback, Leann. We're with you -- the max occupancy on this unit will always be just 2 people. Folks need space to spread out and be cozy while still paying (hard to find) economical lodging prices. So glad to hear that you enjoyed our superb location outside the main gate of Rocky Mountain National Park!

Great stay
Publié le 25 sept. 2024 sur HotelsWe stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. It was spacious and beds were comfortable. Location was perfect for quick access to town and to RMNP. There is some road noise during the day and early evening but not noticeable at night. It wasn’t an issue for us. There were only 2 pans available for cooking, a large pan and a skillet. Owner communicated in advance with check in instructions, location of room, parking and how to contact him for any questions or concerns we may have. We enjoyed our stay.
