Late summer in Evoramonte
Publié le 19 sept. 2022 sur HomeAwayA beautiful, comfortable cottage with use of lovely pool (shared with guests in other cottage, but there were none while we were there). Enormous and comfy bed and nice evening views over the valley, with a glass of something. Excellent breakfast on offer daily.

A pleasant experience
Publié le 25 sept. 2020 sur HomeAwayThe house inside is beautiful, well decorated and with a lot of history. The landscape and view outside are breathtaking. A little paradise. The pool area is great just as in the pictures but not private to the house. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming people. They do all they can to make you feel comfortable and have a great experience. Lovely couple! Great breakfast with a lot of choice. I totally recommend it although I think it’s still a bit overpriced if you compare with other similar experiences. Anyway, would definitely repeat! Thank you !!!

Relaxante!

Highly recommended
Publié le 23 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed a very quiet, very relaxing holiday... everywhere we looked there were wonderful views of the countryside and the castle. The cottage was spacious and very comfortable, the bed was lovely with gorgeous linen. We had no difficulty preparing simple meals in the small kitchen; a few extra items which which we requested were quickly provided. The only thing we missed was a table on the terrace.
We were pleasantly surprised by how hot the weather was in early October, allowing us to make full use of the lovely swimming pool, which has an exceptional view.
Each day of our stay began with a plentiful and varied continental breakfast, laid out in the old olive press room, prepared for us by Robert, our host for the week.
Reflecting on our stay we would say that Quinta Evoramonte provided a very peaceful base for an easy, relaxed holiday. There was lots to see and do and we enjoyed exploring this part of Alentejo,

Podia ser melhor
Publié le 14 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayNunca nos foi facultado o recibo , o qual foi pedido mais do que uma vez . Check in não existiu . Boa piscina mas com abelhas. Muitas coisas ainda por melhorar .....

Em relação às abelhas ao redor da piscina, o terreno da Quinta possui muitas árvores e, portanto, as abelhas são uma parte importante do ecossistema natural do local. A presença destas depende do clima e da hora do dia e, na maioria das vezes, não incomodam os hóspedes. Procuramos garantir que não hajam colmeias por perto.
De qualquer forma, estamos satisfeitos por saber que disfrutou de todos os outros aspectos da sua estadia, e ficaremos a aguardar a sua próxima visita em breve.

Regarding bees around the pool, the Quinta grounds have many trees and therefore bees are an important part of the natural local ecosystem. Their presence does depend on the weather and time of day and for the most part they do not bother guests. We do look to ensure that there are no beehives nearby.
Otherwise we are pleased you enjoyed so much all the other aspects of your stay and we look forward to welcoming you back.
