Points faibles : Propreté, service et personnel, état et installations de l’hébergement et confort de la chambre.
Definitely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in
Hotel is very far from anything, you can't just walk, even if you want to walk through slums, because everything else is on the other side of the river connected by two cars-only bridges. You have to get a rickshaw for 300-500rupees one-way.Take that into consideration when thinking about saving $30 off downtown located hotel.
When I arrived for a checkin they didn't have my hotels.com reservations. Ok, they've asked me to send vouchers via email, and I did that. Despite the fact, that I had booked and paid for Executive room with kitchen and city view, they gave me a double with stone wall view, two rooms away from the restaurant and conference hall aka "party place". Walls are sliver thin. So every day I'd wake up at 7am, because people would start coming for breakfast blabbing on their way, and go asleep at 1am when people finally stop partying (they rent "party place" for non-guest parties).
Mentioned all that to staff to no avail.
The room doesn't have any heaters, so when it's 5C outside, it's like 15C inside. No hot water either, only mildly tepid - I'd say at most 20C. For the first day I had no toilet paper.
In-room WiFi at best 1mbps, when standing near the door, when it works at all.
Specifically asked the night previous to long-awaited checkout for a taxi at 7am next morning, only to be said at 7am that all taxis are booked, get a rickshaw.
