Disruptive and disturbing
Publié le 1 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayPlace was not clean. Food crumbs on the floors. Small and claustrophobic. Had planned a month but spent more time at a hotel and checked out early. Something in the cottage was giving us red long welts. There was a dirty drug abuser asking for rides and the cops were called to the same house every few nights 1-2 in the morning. Advised the property manager and she only wanted pictures so she could address the issues. Like we thought to grab a camera and take pictures of the cops outside our house with flashlights trying to call the neighbors. We never asked her for anything but felt disregarded, would never stay or recommend

I'm very sorry to see this retaliatory review. I just want to clarify I had red flags about this guest from the beginning. They wanted me to give them a lease so they could use my address to change their driver's licenses to TN. My initial fear was they were going to try to squat in the home. I made it clear that would not be happening in a frank discussion and made VRBO aware. I checked in with the guest at 2 weeks and to confirm time for complimentary housekeeping and there were zero complaints. A week before check out suddenly claims were made about bed bugs and a disturbance next door, which guest claimed all happened in the first week, three weeks earlier. They did not contact me in a timely manner to address anything. The house was immediately inspected by pest control and I have a certificate saying there were no pests of any kind much less bed bugs. In my opinion this guest was trying to scam me with squatting and then trying to get the stay for free. Please disregard and see the other reviews which are not consistent with this.

Publié le 11 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The dogs really enjoyed the back yard and the dog beds. Next time we need to stay in Tennessee we will definitely stay here.

Cottage Getaway

GRAND GRAD TRIP

The grass was a little tall and about the time i noticed it, a super polite gentleman asked permission to mow it. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It was way nicer than a hotel!!! Thanks for your Hospitality!
