Great days in Ettalong Beach
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayIrmgard has a very good setup. Very nice garden area to enjoy the sun. Close to beach and ferry a short stroll to shops, cafes and market .Made for an excellent few days break

A below average getaway that didn't meet expectations.
Publié le 26 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayCommunication between the owner and I was intermittent, I paid for 5 nights but due to work commitments I couldn't get there for the first night so I donated the first night with no offer of refund.
When I did turn up, late on the second night at 5pm due to car issues no access code was provided to the property, after several attempts too contact the owner by phone and texts, I think it was 7 called and 14 texts, with no success I was locked out for 4 hours in the cold until the owner finished work.
The bed wasn't made, crockery was dirty, shower was dirty with mould, then there was the early morning Barking Dog daily and the owner yelling at it made for a great sleep in as you could imagine.
Very deceiving photos, main street with regular traffic noise, location was next to a bus stop just outside the bedroom window.
Wouldn't recommend to anyone and wouldn't stay again, the area was great CBD and shops.

Yes, I did make a monumental mistake with check in arrangements. I will make triple sure that it does not ever happen again. Many sincere apologies and a goodwill offer of $100.00 could not ease the pain.
I do understand the frustration and dare say that the holiday was doomed from the beginning by being cut short through work commitments and the breakdown and right off of the car.
I hope normality has returned and I thank the reviewer for their effort in writing.

The host is lovely & very helpful.
The artworks are beautiful, which helps to make this a very unique little spot almost in the heart of Ettalong & 2 minutes from the ferry & beach.
Highly recommended.

The studio was comfortable & spacious. I would suggest that the host get the place fumigated. Lots of little cockroaches in the bathroom & kitchen area.

So close to Beach and Palm Beach Ferry. A brilliant location. Magical garden/courtyard you can use.
