Most bedrooms have a water side view of the lake, and two very large balconies overlooking the dock and cove. You will find everything you need in the fully stocked kitchen to prepare any meal you may desire. After dinner you can stroll down to the dock and enjoy a glass of wine right on the water. This cozy cabin has everything you need inside for a comfortable evening in, including board games, smart TVâs, a dart board and internet to enjoy during your stay.
My family got together in February and found the cabin on the lake. We stayed there all weekend playing games, catching up, and eating food. We had a great time. The views were great like being in a valley with snow. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms the kitchen had everything we needed. There was a big dining table to accommodate everyone eating and playing games. The heat and air worked great as well as providing fans.Well definitely book again but probably when it's warmer weather.
We had our Thanksgiving gathering at the property, it had plenty of room and all the accommodations. We had several unexpected situations arise and shelly was more then happy to help them.
Once again I canât thank Shelly enough for an amazing stay! We loved every minute of it out at your familyâs cabin. Thanks again and we will see you next time!
This property exceeds expectations and is in such a good spot! If you are looking forward to a good time with family/friends then look no further and book this Cabin! Shelly is super quick to respond if you have any questions at all and I canât thank her enough for her hospitality! Thanks again for an awesome stay and I am already looking forward to next time!
Location great, other parts just need a little work
We loved the location of this house! The 2 decks on the house were wonderful! Also, the dock was large enough for our big group to hang out on all day and enjoy the boats coming in and out! The house had the space we needed, and Shelly even answered our phone calls and helped us out with a few things!
Just a few things for future guest to be made aware of though,
The steps to go down the dock are VERY steep and small without handrails. We had a bad fall happen at the beginning of our weekend. Once you make it past the steps the ramp to the dock is ALSO steep. Just keep all this in mind if you happen to have anyone who will struggle with walking.
The house had the space we needed but it was VERY hot. We were not able to adjust the thermostat downstairs. Every time we adjusted it, the temp would just go back to what it was set on originally (78 degrees!!). So, bring fans with you!!
There were very few towels. luckily, we had brought some extra beach towels and were able to use those for showering.
We had a very large group, and we were having to make the toilet paper last. Not enough extra rolls on hand. Same with paper towels and hand towels for the kitchen.
I did read about the trash situation before we went so, we were prepared. BUT if one of our girls had not drove a truck then we would have been struggling with our bags and trash transporting it all out. All our SUVs were packed to the max and would not have had much room for a bunch of trash bags also.
We absolutely loved this place! It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed! We went for my boyfriendâs 30th birthday and we had the the best weekend. We will definitely be back!
We had a great time the property was right on the water. We had a plenty of room to all stretch out and enjoy our stay. I would say the parking situation if you have a trailer can be a mess. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely refer this property.
We had a great time at this property! The property manager was very accommodating and super responsive. Property is right on the water with an awesome dock to hang out on. The house itself is beautiful and clean! Will definitely stay here again!
First Time Celebrating Thanksgiving Away From Home
50 Dripping Springs Point on Eucha was a great place for our entire family to celebrate Thanksgiving. Beautiful home. Very spacious. Had everything we needed to make it a great stay. Three televisions with all kinds of options. Cabinet full of board games. Two balconies facing the water. Lots of outdoor seating areas on both. Boat dock below. Hoping to go back this summer and enjoy the water.
We really enjoyed our stay and would like to return. The house was amazing and accommodating, the views were beautiful. However, I was not thrilled by the surprise of having to put disgusting trash bags inside my SUV and drive them 10 minutes away to throw them in a dumpster, also felt the cleaning fee was a bit steep for having to do this.
This house is a great location to the cliffs in Dripping Springs. It has a dock and great views. Plenty of room for multiple families. There is an extra charge to use the dock, not sure why the owner does this as I've never been charged extra for something that should already be included in the price. I could see a dock charge to rent just the dock but if you're renting the house it should be included. The dock needs cleaned as there was red wasp nests and geese poop everywhere. Landscaping is overgrown on the steps to get down to the dock. This was our second straight year to rent this house for Labor Day weekend. Overall we were pleased.
The house was big enough for my friends and I but sleeping arrangements were a little tight. The house is comfortable but some things in the description were a little misleading. We figured for the size of the house there would be a gas grill big enough to cook dinner on. But it is just a small charcoal grill on the side of the house. We ended up not using it because the grass and weeds were overgrown and we did not want to start a fire. The description states high speed Internet (50+Mbps) but it was only 7-9mbps. I had some work to complete on Friday after our check in and it took me a little longer than I planned because the Internet wasn't very fast. If I would have known I would have finished my work at my office before I left work for the day. One of my bigger complaints about the property is they charge you a separate charge to use the boat dock. It would make more sense to add it into the total price instead of having to run my credit card twice for the same property. The biggest complaint we had about the property is the scorpion infestation. We killed several scorpions during our 2 days there. We found one on the master bedroom bed and one was in the shower with one of my friends.
On to the good things, the house is in a really good location for hanging out on the lake. There is a pizza place in the water a couple docks down that is open during the weekend. There is also a few other places close by on the water to eat at.
The pictures donât do it justice! This place is awesome and very spacious. Thanks for your quick responses and easy check in / out process, Shelly. đ
This is a great place to stay. Especially if you want to party at the Drip. Lots of fun. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable sofa in the den. Good set up in the downstairs for families and sharing bathrooms. Lots of flat parking on the main level. It is a bit of a hike up and down to the dock. But the water was amazing from the dock. We just floated out there and the kids caught some little blue gill fish. Great trip.
The pictures didnât do the home justice. Large bedrooms with common spaces for family time. The boat dock was a great place to hang out on Saturday to watch the party in the cove as the boats gathered during the day. The cove is very quite through the week though. The home has lots of special touches such as sauces in the fridge and lots of spices in the cabinet that were greatly appreciated. We cooked 5 dinners and were never in need of any pot, pan, or utensil in this well stocked kitchen.
