Lack of transparency. Fell short.
Check in was okay. Unlike other hotels that i have stayed; i was misinformed about pet fee. I was told that it was a $75 nonrefundable. I was charged that everyday of my stay. That was not conveyed AT ALL. If i knew that i wouls not have chosen this hotel. 4 DAYS prior to this stay i was at Townsuites and that was not their practice. Transparency is lacking.
The bed is postioned in a weird spot. The design has you having to lay on your side to watch tv unless you sit on chaise to have direct view. We ran out of shower gel on our 2nd nite there. Breakfast was nice. $225 for a pet fee in addition to our hotel room fees and taxes was a definite thorn in my side. The amount i paid total did not equate to the quality of my stay. Terribly disappointed!
Very clean hotel. Largest room I have ever had. I traveled extensively for business when working. I was the highest level in both Hilton and Marriott for years. This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Hilton is my preferred hotel chain.
Check in was a disaster. Not Hampton’s role but Hotel’s.com. They issued a virtual card for payment that did not clear. I had to give a credit card for guarantee. It’s check out time and even with a lot of effort on the part of Hampton staff, it had not cleared. When I check out I will be double paying. The problem is Hotel’s.com and I am not a happy camper. It will not go unsettled with Hotel’s. Com
