Graduate Eugene is probably one of the coolest hotels I've ever been. Every single detail is designed to enhance the hotel's atmosphere and guest experience: from the University of Oregon-inspired key cards to the waffle makers turned to lamps everything is unique and leaves a smile on the guest's face. Highly recommend it!

Service level lower than expected

The room didn't come with basic amenities like soap, coffee, a hotel overview or phone directory (I had no idea how to get ahold of housekeeping or the front desk because there was an old school push button phone in the room.) When I did figure out how to get ahold of the front desk and request soap/coffee, they said I could come down to the lobby and get it (excuse me, what?). Given that I was already getting ready for bed I asked them to deliver to my room, which is never was. For this reason I give 4 stars - it's the little things that push you to 5, and sadly that level of customer service was lacking.
