Home on the Canal

Sweet home

Publié le 13 août 2023 sur HomeAwaythis is a gem! very clean, quiet, right on the canal, short walk to the waterfront ... it had everything we needed. the management is by vacasa instead of the private owner. the keypad for opening the door was malfunctioning and it took them 3 hours to answer our text. the bicycles had flat tires, and there were no instructions about how to get the kayaks in and out of the canal. even with those issues, this place is sweet sweet. we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. i think that places that are operated by the owners tend to work out better.

Not as Expected Location & Weather
Publié le 2 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayIt was cold! Two days in a 62 degree house before we figured out heating. Only a breakfast/lunch place nearby within walking distance…and it was closed two days of our stay. When the sun came out it was pleasant but remote.
One wine glass?! Most everything else was used but adequate. Very uncomfortable seating throughout.
