I didn’t like our room because it totally smells like smoke and old. When we turn on the ac, the bad smell started to spread out. Thank goodness I don’t have asthma.

Totally Disgusting and Disappointed

This hotel is the most disgusting i have ever been to. A customer in front of me complained when she went to her roon to find out the room that was supposedly ready, had not even been cleaned. The lobby was dirty. I will not take a chance on staying in a room that possiblycould have not been cleaned, or the bed remade without even changing the linen, the outside was dismal, trash in the parking lot. The employee was very rude, Demanded a cash deposit of 50.00 for my stay instead of charging my card. I explained i do not carry cash while traveling due to possible theft. She still demanded, i asked to have the reservation canceled and i call the company with no apologies, discounts, or a refund. I will never stay at another America's best again, and i encourage others to find another place to stay. This was more like a pay by hour facility rather than a hotel that they claim to be.

We apologize for any perceived rudeness. We charge an incidental deposit of $25, not $50, to all guests. We require it to be a cash deposit because we frequently have cards denied when we try to charge for any incidentals.

My wife and daughter heard mice in the walls during the night. Although we booked the room for 3 people, there was only 1 bath towel. The TV eould not get any channels when we turned it on. The breakfast only had drinks and cereal, not even any toast or sweet rolls. The walls were in bad shape. The only good things were the resposiveness of the staff, and the room was quiet. We were also upcharged for two beds instead of one.
