Spring in the Alps
Posted Apr. 10, 2019 on HomeAwayVery cool little chalet/cabin in La Sage (Evolene). Best for 2 people max. and despite the size, having 2 floors to spread is decent. The outdoor balcony/deck facing the mountain...esp with the great weather makes in a gem. Plenty of hiking right around the village too. Will rent the larger one next time, if available

Picturesque location in mid-winter
Posted Jan. 4, 2019 on HomeAwayThe chalet is in a perfect location and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our staying here would love to come again perhaps in the summer. The village has good transport links - which was very useful when places in La Sage were closed. However there's a few restaurants, cafes & a village shop not to far of a walk away. The owners were very friendly and happy to answer our queries.

Amazing chalet in the Swiss alps
Posted Nov. 8, 2018 on HomeAwayI can not say enough wonderful things about this little chalet. We woke each morning and had coffee and breakfast on the patio overlooking the mountains.
The instructions were perfect from finding the parking to locating the chalet. The chalet was clean and ready when we arrived.
The little chalet was good for two people, you do have to climb ladders between the floors
I enjoyed the walk from the parking to the chalet, this is an area famous for hiking so make sure you stay here for several days.
The drive to the chalet is beautiful.
The bed was comfortable. The shower was great, and hot !
Pick up groceries on the way and stay! We did eat one night at a good local restaurant in the village.
This chalet is a gem !

wonder location, small place with though access. good for hikers.
Posted Aug. 11, 2018 on HomeAwayGreat place in the great valley. Step out of the chalet and you’re already on the trail. Views of the glaciers from the window. Be aware of the 10 minutes hike from the parking lot with the luggage not for everybody (warned in the property description). Also the chalet beds require some gymnastic to get there. Communication with the host would work better if not the VBRO’s messaging system flooding my mailbox. It led to some miscommunication which was overcome thanks to my very helpful host.

Fantastic view, well-stocked chalet, excellent price
Posted Mar. 19, 2017 on HomeAwayThis chalet had our favourite view in the entire valley. We had such a great time. The chalet is tiny but well organised and has everything you could need in the kitchen. Great value and very flexible booking and check in/out procedure. So peaceful and cosy. Great owners - very helpful.
Walks in the area are wonderful and you can just walk out from the chalet into the mountains.
Tips: Wouldn't be good for those of limited mobility as the walk up from the road is steep and in snow/rain can be slippy/muddy/icy. Arrive in the daytime. Bring easily carry-able luggage, a tea towel and measure your bedding (we forgot but all the dimensions are there on the website and I think the length of the double bed is a little unusual).

Thank you Amy – would be a pleasure to have you come back ! Very helpful ! Indeed, the chalet is a 5-10 min walk from the parking in the center of village. Although the road is usually dry, it can be icy in winter.
For those who prefer, bedding (which includes tea towels) can also be booked upon reservation (CHF22/bed) via our personal website.

Kleines Haus mit toller Aussicht
Posted Nov. 1, 2022 on HomeAwayDer Weg zum Haus ist sehr steil und lang wenn man ihn mit Gepäck gehen muss. Es ist natürlich schon älter und hat auch sein Charme. Trotzdem gibt es Dinge die mal repariert gehören.
Für ein paar Tage in Ordnung.

Très bon chalet
Posted Aug. 1, 2022 on HomeAwayLocalisation parfaite pour qui aime la randonnée. Vue magnifique. Chalet très confortable pour 2 personnes. Dommage que le propriétaire ne laisse pas d’information personnalisée sur les commerces, activités de la zone proche. Un livre d’or pour que les locataires se laissent des infos sur les bons plans pourrait être chouette à ajouter!
