Tranquil Charm on the River Exe

A ten minute walk from the Puffing Billy pub from where you can walk along the River Exe Trail south to Exmouth and return via the train for a pleasant day out. The trail also goes north towards Topsham which takes around 20 minutes on foot where you can experience the sunset from the bars / restaurants on the riverside

Wonderful stay

Apart from that we virtually had the run of the entire ground floor including breakfast sitting room with another TV and a utility room equipped with tea and coffee making facilities etc. Wonderful fairly remote spot beside the River Exe and an excellent host.

Tim was very accommodating.
Plenty for breakfast
Train ran along bottom of garden twice an hour but never really bothered us

Tim was an excellent host and having the run of downstairs kitchen and gardens made it feel like a home from home with better views
