The pool and spa were really good, room was clean and comfortable bonus was the balcony, we didn’t have chance to use the gym but we will be back to try, I needed a relaxing break after an injury, this place was perfect with quiet areas lovely wood burning stove ticking away in the background, fabulous views, all the staff from reception to bar to spa were really friendly and professional, did me the world of good, looking forward to return visit..

It presents as dingy and needing a freshening up. The down stairs restaurant and a depressing dark grey and gives a munical appearance. also the signage in the corridors makes it very difficult to find the 'reception area if you don't know the building - of course as youi are a hotel most people staying won't know the layout of the building. The young woman on the reception desk was a gem and went the extra mild to help me sort a taxi problem.She was on When I arrrived on Saturday 26th and the folliowing Sunday Morning. Worth her weight in gold!!!

It was lovely and the staff were really decent, our bed was a bit savage as it was 2 singles clipped together and it kept separating and was really uncomfortable, my partner had a bad lower back from it on the Sunday. Other than that, really nice, spa was awesome and room dead clean and good food too.

Great stay with no stress
Staff were great and the room was a fantastic size. Really enjoyed our stay. It would be good to have a window for fresh air. The fan was appreciated but it’s not quite the same. There was a little water that came from under the bath after a shower but rooms were extremely clean.

Room claustrophobic due to lack of window. Room nice and big though. Food in the “cafe” disappointing and not value for money. Linen napkin coved in white particles which covered my cloths. The layout of the tables for a party of 6 was poor - why use round tables rather than push 2 rectangle ones together

Had a disappointing stay in a lovely hotel. Room large and clean, bed comfortable but was given room right next to reception which meant constant door banging throughout the night and noise from main sliding doors same. Staff assistance was variable, one advised no need to book for dinner and gave wrong opening times so we missed dinner with only option to grab table in bar. Food wasnt very good. In the morning when we checked out we advised we'd had bad night but werent offered anything in way of compensation, just advised that they had tried to reduce noise from previous complaints. Spa was good and clean with towels available from reception. Free parking was good.

Place itself was nice. Room was clean with a nice view of the golf course from the balcony in my room. Good cleaning products to use in the shower with added dressing gowns to use if you wish. Down side was when we booked for evening meal. We noticed even though our order had been taken other guests were getting their food first. In the end took over an hour and we ended up getting the main course before the starters. Way too late for me to eat in the end but we had to make do. The manager on shift was very nice to us though. Breakfast was very nice so overall I would recommend anyone to stay there if you are that way.
