Wonderful house in a beautiful location,
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayBeds were comfortable. Good sized space available for our group of eight. Kitchen had a Nespresso machine with original capsules and an electric teapot. Olive oil and spices available. Well stocked kitchen with an induction stove, pots and pans, etc.

Great location and lovely place for group

The house is clean, cozy and the view out each and every window is just gorgeous. If you want to relax and be surrounded by beautiful countryside - book now! We are a family of six and this house worked perfect for us for the two days that we stayed there. The check in app that they send you is very easy to use and includes information on restaurants nearby. We ate at Hotel Rjukandi which is 10 min away and highly recommend it! Enjoy your trip!

The lodge itself is beautiful and well-appointed. The vistas from the windows are stunning, including the horses & wildflowers. The kitchen was well-stocked, much more than we required. The owner responded in a timely manner to questions and concerns.
My suggestions for improvement are minimal, but perhaps will be helpful for other guests: a hard copy of house rules and guidelines in case there are technology issues; a fan & screens in the windows that open because it actually got a bit too warm inside on the week we were there (the 'hottest summer week' apparently); a small sign at the fork in the driveway indicating that property 2 is to the left. Overall, this location was perfect for exploring the peninsula and experiencing what it would be like to live in the extraordinary countryside day-to-day.
