Glamping at its best
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWhen I read the other reviews I was hesitant to book but don’t let someone else’s opinion deter you! The place was cute and cozy and clean. We floated on the lake and had fires at night. The neighbors were so friendly! Our dog loved it too! I have already recommended this property to my cousin who is planning a trip to VT in October.

Awful Atrocious Disgusting Hideous Grossly over priced
Publié le 11 sept. 2019 sur HomeAwayWe are not sure if we saw Rat hair or cat hair. A shower with a stream weaker than your garden hose. Tiny cramped bed so small you better be under 5'5 in that bed, No privacy curtains, right out of the shower you have to try and dry off in the bedroom. The refrigerator is loud enough to wake up everyone multiple times a night. Dont stay here and the service if you call is abysmal. These are the good points

Thanks for staying with us! We have an awesome cleaning team, so I believe that what you saw was probably hair from you or your dog. This is my camp and I am almost 6 foot tall and sleep in the bed with my wife, it is a full size bed so it is small if you are use to a king size bed, we have a king size bed at home. We have doors that are pocket doors that slide out from the wall and curtains on the windows in the bedrooms. We don't have curtains on the windows that face the lake in the living room. The refrigerator does have a buzz but it is normal and not loud. We have had many guest that stayed with us over the last few years that enjoy our camp, it's been referred to as Glamping - here is a review from Aug 2019 from our last guest: Hello! Went up to Vermont with my 19 year old son and small dog, and we really enjoyed our mini vacation! Clean, neat comfortable and cozy! It was a wonderful stay we loved using the grill and fishing on the lake! Our 'neighbors' were so nice and friendly too! Most of all we loved the yard and fire pit, which we enjoyed every evening! Fred , the owner, was wonderful! Thank you, we will visit again!

For us, great location because we were visiting family that already had a camp on the lake.
Publié le 13 août 2018 sur HomeAwayMost important - should have mentioned that the tap water was not potable - glad that drinking water was provided though. Instructions for leaving the camp included running the dishwasher - NO DISHWASHER in the camp - instructions should have been edited. Disappointed there was no cable TV - at the price we paid to stay there it should have been available. We were happy that the air conditioner was effective and the bed was comfortable - so we slept well.
