Avis Updated Lake St. Clair Cottage w/ Shared Amenities

Pros: steps off the water for fishing and beautiful views. Very clean water Shared dock for swimming and fishing. A couple family parks for family nearby The staff was very good at getting us new supplies as needed. It was a comfortable space with air that works but it did leak. Shared firepit was very nice. Cons: its also a motel- dont expect being alone or quiet space. There are people that live there or stay there with no common courtesy and leave messes everywhere. Some other guests had no common courtesy with covid going around. It is right off a busy road. Just so you know the house is behind the motel. It is very small but has everything you need.

It’s behind a motel not just two properties like the description. There was no key in a lock box. There wasn’t even a lock box. There were numbers and not letters like I was e-mailed. Main contact person was unreachable and never returned calls or e-mails. We had to call the emergency contact. Dirty, bugs, toilet wouldn’t flush, TV would not stay on. What a rip off.

We really enjoyed our stay at this adorable little cottage! Everything was very clean & extremely comfortable. The other tenants on the property were as sweet and friendly as can be. We enjoyed floating our giant unicorn rafts on the lake and just sitting outside relaxing hearing the sounds of the lake. Downtown New Baltimore is such a quaint little town. The boutiques and restaurants were fabulous. Owners of the shops were just great! We hope to return in the near future!
