Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhile the house, on the inside, was just as projected, the outside was not represented as such. This house is literally less than a foot from a very old and dated mobile home that was not in good shape at all. The parking area had junk car, motorcycle and lawn mower in front of the mobile home. The walk from the house to the pier/lake rounded you within 3 or 4 feet of the mobile home. The trail to the pier was very rough with roots and rocks all the way down to the pier. We asked one of the neighbors if we could use theirs as it was actually made of wood and trip hazards were minimal compared to the one we were to use for the house. I would post pictures if there was a place to post them as the pictures on VRBO are not representative of this property. I would not suggest this property if you have small children due to the rough terrain to get to the lake.

Horrible communication
Publié le 6 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThe stay was fine but afterwards my husband left his wedding ring on the nightstand which fell under the bed at some point. He forgot to grab it the next morning. After check out I messaged the Evolve company, the only contact available, and did not get any kind of response until a week later. Then it was a half hearted “oh we are sorry we will look into it.” Never heard from them again. Terrible customer service.

Weekend stay
Publié le 21 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice renovation with all the basics. Listing and reviews accurate. Dock in good shape but path is only for people with good mobility. Trailer behind this house is literally a few feet from the lower deck but no one was there during our trip. Upper deck is a great spot for a morning cup of coffee.

Weekend Basecamp
Publié le 2 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwaySpent the weekend at an event in the area - didnt spend alot of time at the location during the day. There is WiFi though ...Interior is just like the pictures. Theres a upper and lower deck. A way better value then a hotel room . It worked out well for us.

The exterior of the property was not as desirable as the interior (old truck with flat tire in driveway along with multiple trailers, lack of finished landscaping, other unit on property is in disrepair, no furniture on dock to sit and enjoy the lake). In addition, WiFi was limited and as soon as more than 3 devices connected, TVs and connected devices began to loose connection to internet.

Hi John we're glad you enjoyed your overall stay. We are sorry to hear that you did not have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests. The internet is limited and unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do. We have just recently moved the pontoon boat so that is no longer there. For guest use and comfort, we have two chairs for the dock. Last we checked, they are still there. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

A little slice of heaven

They thought of just about everything from small appliances to coloring books for the kids. You could tell the home was recently built/updated everything was perfect. Two decks to enjoy our evenings outdoors with comfortable seating and gas grill. A nice path way to the dock where we could keep our boat for the duration of our stay. 2 nice size bathrooms and having laundry access was a plus. This will be our go to rental every year for fishing tournaments.
