this is one of two Best Westerns in Fairbanks and this one does not allow pets in rooms. My dog loves to kennel up in the truck so no worries for us.
This used to be the Comfort Inn with a pool a long time ago, it's at the back end of Alaska Land aka Pioneer Park (walkable still as far as I could tell). That old Comfort Inn changed management and went to pot. These guys are tuning it up again :-). It used to be where Alaskans stayed due to good price, breakfast and pool. Looks to me like it's become that again!! :-)
And to add to the confusion (I originally thought I'd booked the Best Western on Airport which IS pet friendly) then on our way out of town we saw a new Comfort Inn (the old Super 8 on Airport). So check your address if you want the one with the pool it should say Chena Landings Loop (you'll also want that info if you order food delivered ;-).

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and well taken care of each day! Breakfast was good every morning and got our day started off right! The location allows for easy access to anywhere in town. Great place to stay!

The location allows for access all over town. It is quiet, safe, clean and the staff is very friendly and ready to help. The only thing that would make it any better would be a shuttle service to and from the airport. Other than that, it is a great place to stay and enjoy your time in Fairbanks!
