Wow. Not a good stay. We traveled for 10 hours and came to the hotel as soon as we landed. We had a lot of luggage and started to make ourselves at home in our room. After about an hour, the room was not cooling down so we called the front desk. Maintenance came up and determined the thermostat was broken so they offered us another room. Very inconvenient after just getting settled but we also didn’t want to sleep in a sauna. We packed everything up and headed to our new room. I went first and dropped the first load of stuff off. When I came back a second time, our key wouldn’t work and both of our phones were in the new room. I went to the front desk and got a different key. It didn’t work. Went back down to the front desk and requested maintenance to come up. They messed with it for 15 minutes and determined the key reader was broken. Meanwhile we are just sitting in the hall in our pajamas. They then went to get some tool and that didn’t work. They then went to get a new battery. They ended up having to give us their master key because it still barely worked after that. This was a 2 hour ordeal after we just traveled all day. The hotel itself and the staff were nice.

Room service not consistent in that one night my room was cleaned but all the other nights of my four night stay got none.

Thank you, Richard, for your review. We are happy to schedule housekeeping visits for guests at their invitation. If no other arrangements are made, we will service rooms on the third day. I am sorry the cleaning policy was not explained better at check-in. We hope you will enjoy another visit to our hotel in Fairbanks again.

Late check in went very smooth. All the staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend it and will stay here again

The person at the front desk Ladessa, was super! She was sweet, kind, and helpful. The nicest staff member we have met during our current road trip. She deserves a raise!! We also want to give a shout out to Tim, who helped us rearrange our plans due to a flight cancellation.
