Post cruise northern lights trip

The house was comfortable for our group of 5 The hosts went out of their way for us by providing coffee and snacks and other items. The house was spotless and well maintained and had a great view of the Chena River. We hired a tour to take us to see the northern lights and because our location was so great they picked us up right at the house. Highly recommend staying here. By the way we got a great northern lights show

Northern Light trip

Short stay in Fairbanks
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWonderful property on the river in Fairbanks. Clean, comfortable and well stocked. Owners left "treats" for us at check in that were much appreciated. We loved sitting on the lanai with wine looking at the river. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Chena River Home

Very clean with many amenities.
Coffee station, bottled water, snacks were appreciated.
Laundry products also!!
Bobby and Tera were a pleasure to work with.

Worked perfectly for Fairbanks stay
Publié le 2 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house was very clean and so well stocked! The location was great for what we wanted to do while in Fairbanks. It was so nice to come back and sit by the river. Beds were comfortable. We really appreciated all the personal touches left for us. Would highly recommend!

Great stay

The extra touches like snacks, water, etc were very appreciated. The view of the river from the house was also very beautiful. The space was very nice and rooms were comfortable. Highly recommend for a traveling family who wants some quiet and comfort in Fairbanks.

Great view
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayHost was not very accommodating to drop out luggage. Very rude on the phone. Property was clean and location was good. It would be great if the patio had a cover so you could enjoy sitting outside even while raining.

I appreciate you taking the time to leave this review. As a host I strive to ensure that every guest has an amazing experience with the time they have in the place I call home, Fairbanks. Of the 1000+ 5-star reviews that I have received over my years of hosting the reputation I have is that of a detailed oriented, thoughtful, kind, consistent, and knowledgeable host. During our communication I was unable to allow an early check-in for luggage drop and stated this multiple times in the months before your stay. I consistently told you it was unavailable. You continued to request this and I restated my reasoning. I will not allow a guest to stay in a home that is not cleaned to the standards set by myself and VRBO. After you showed up and lied to my cleaner and forced her to take your bags, I did call you and notify you that this was inappropriate and against the conduct of VRBO. I was professional in stating the error in your judgement and do hope you do not treat other hosts like this during future stays. After your actions with my cleaner VRBO did reach out to me and gave me the option to not only impose a fine on you and cancel your entire stay which would have detrimentally affected your vacation. I chose not to take these actions out of respect for you and letting you enjoy your time in Fairbanks. I ask that in future stays you follow the house rules as they are there to ensure you have a great stay.
