Have stayed here a few times over past 5 years. Over this period the area around the hotel has declined as has the upkeep interior of the hotel; rugs worn, towels stiff, morning breakfast diminished in options. Staff was still pleasant but just doesn’t have the same Hampton Feel I used to get or I get at other Hampton’s. Neighboring cities have high crime elements so this is safer place than Fairfield….just not close to restaurants . Not sure you’d want to walk to a restaurant nowadays near Fairfield or Suisun anyhow.

The only issue I had was the smell of marijuana in the halls, otherwise everything else was good.

Had one of their very nice fireplace w/ king size bed rooms for the weekend and my wife and I both enjoyed it immensely. The breakfast was good, tasty, filling, and the coffee was hot, in theory, 24/7. We didn't check at, say, 3am, so "In theory." The one thing we both noticed that would prevented a five-star all-around view was that the air conditioner/ventilator seemed to run all the time even when we shut it off. Not sure if this was supposed to be the case, but we both figured it might be because of the fireplace or the fact that the bathroom didn't seem to have a dedicated power fan. Maybe we should have complained, but neither of us felt like gambling on the same thing being true in the other two fireplace water-view rooms.

When booking the hotel, the description stated the room had a balcony, which it did not. That was false.

Don't stay here until they fix the problems

Hotel looks like a remodel was halted in the middle of work! First room had a broken fireplace and exposed wires. Second room had broken tile on baseboard tile, no waste baskets near sinks, wall outlets covered by furniture or mirrors, non working desk lamp and tv due to electrical outlet was falling out of the wall, very high ceilings so takes a long time to warm up the room, coffee inserts don't fit the coffee pot, bathroom door would not close tightly, glass plate in microwave doesn't fit that model, and much more. No manager available when we stayed there and were told the manager would call us when we got home. Never called us at all. On the plus side - it is in a nice location!
