Amazing Island Paradise
Publié le 12 nov. 2018 sur HotelsThe Matafouna Lodge is amazing. The location is beautiful. The fales were comfortable with a porch, comfortable bed, and glass windows. The shower facility was convenient and very nice with ceramic tiles and privacy (and most importantly, hot water).
The staff were friendly. The food was very good (the seafood pizza was delicious). The diving was awesome but the snorkeling was almost as amazing. We spent most of our holiday in the water!
Ollie, the fluffy guardian of the resort, is a sweet playful pup. He is very well trained and not a bother to the ‘non-dog’ people and an absolute delight for the dog people.

Perfect place for relaxation
Publié le 5 mars 2018 sur HotelsMy wife and I stayed 4 nights in Sandy Beach Resort (the sister hotel of Matafonua Lodge, just 200m away) and we had a wonderful time there. We stayed at fale fitu and actually all the fales are the same, just few steps away from the beach and ocean. It's perfect place for snorkeling and kayaking. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you so much, Richard and Cushla! We already missed you and Hapa, hope to come back at whale season.
