The Coach House at Carwinion Vean - close to village, beaches and great gardens.

Comfortable, light airy modern accommodation with its own private garden and parking, in heart of the village. The property is situated in Mawnan Smith, on the outskirts of the bustling harbour town of Falmouth. The village has a café, public house, general store, hairdresser and doctor’s surgery. It is close to two golf courses, sandy beaches and fishing coves. The sub-tropical gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan are within walking distance. The accommodation is centrally positioned to easily explore all that Cornwall has to offer. This includes Pendennis Castle, St Michaels Mount, Tintagel, Minnack open air theatre, The Eden Project, Newquay surf, Lizard Point, Mousehole, The Lost gardens of Heligan, Falmouth University, St Ives Tate Gallery, Lands’ End and filming locations for Poldark and Doc Martin. It is within walking distance of the breathtakingly scenic Cornish coastal path and beautiful Helford River, including the setting for Daphne du Maurier's novel Frenchman's Creek. Jamaica Inn is also within an hour’s drive. There are attractions for all the family such as Flambards Theme Park, Newquay Zoo, Paradise Park, Cornish Seal Sanctuary, National Maritime Museum, Camel Creek Adventure Park, Dairyland, Lappa Valley Steam railway and Springfields.

petite maison parfaitement équipée et très propre, avec un jardin pour profiter du soleil.
maison très propre et parfaitement équipée. Idéalement située pour découvrir l'ouest de la "west and south Cornish" (tout est proche: superbes jardins, Lizard peninsula, St Michael Mount et Minack Theatre. le "National Seal Sanctuary" vaut vraiment le détour.

Ideal place for exploring local area. Excellent options to dine and walk and the bungalow was perfect. Host recommendations for dining were spot on. New coffee shop in village proved an ideal starter for the day. We will use vrbo again as Cornwall has reawakened our desire to explore more our own backyard.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It was clean and very well equipped. We very much appreciated the welcome packs which included a variety of teas and coffees, fresh milk and cereals plus shortbread biscuits. We would stay here again.

wonderful place to stay - we will come back!
A very lovely, clean and comfortable cottage with lots of space for a family of 4. All you need is there - the kitchen is very well equipped and if you fancy going to the sea there are big towels and all you need for a good day out. If it is raining - no problem... a very nice selection of DVDs and books but also games to play with the family. Just perfect! If you are tired and dont want to drive - just stay in the little lovely garden. . There is a small supermarket and local pub or coffee place - all within 3 minutes walking distance for those who do not want to drive. The location is brilliant for daily trips to explore this spot of England. The hosts are very very friendly and helpful. We can recommend this accommodation more than 100% and will for sure come back!

Das Cottage in Mawnan Smith ist ideal gelegen, um Cornwall zu erkunden. In 1 Stunde können viele Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht werden. Es ist ein Tante-Emma-Laden vorhanden, um Einkäufe zu erledigen. Im Pub und beim Spanier kann vor Ort gut gegessen werden. Das Haus ist ideal für vier Personen, da zwei Bäder mit Zugang von jedem Schlafraum. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet . Wir können das Cottage nur wärmstens empfehlen.

The interior of the cottage was nicely decorated throughout. The beds were very comfortable having good quality bed limen. The kitchen was also well equipped with good quality cups, plates etc. The cottage was warm, which made our stay very enjoyable.

Returned a second time. Everything we needed, spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Perfect location for this magical part of Cornwall. Gorgeous autumn week. Enjoyed our sunset walks to the Ferry Boat Inn, the Seal Sanctuary at Gweek, Kynance Cove, Frenchman's Creek and Kestle Barton and would recommend eating at Olivers in Falmouth. Also visit the Constantine Stores for wine and spirits, amazing selection. Thank you Mark and Jayne.

Great accommodation and welcoming hosts
This bungalow was perfect. So clean and everything you need is there. Beds were comfortable and the ensuite facilities excellent. The hosts were very helpful and let my assistant dog stay with us. They even left some biscuits for her which she was very happy about. We had some biscuits left for us as well which were delicious. Mawnan Smith is an ideal location near Trebah and Glendurgan Gardens Falmouth and beaches. The bungalow is in easy walking distance to the local amenities which include a post office and well stocked shop, coffee shop, charity shop and pub. Looking forward to staying again when we next come down.

Great place to discover Cornwall
Very clean cottage. You find all you need and even more. Very helpful and kind owner. Lovely beaches nearby and good food in the "Red Lion". From Mawnan Smith you are able to reach several lovely places within a short drive.

Beautiful cottage and location.
We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was perfect. The beds were really comfortable, the living area bright and spacious and the kitchen had all the mod cons needed. We loved the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is all on the ground floor so no stairs to contend with, ideal for my mum. The owners were easily contactable if needed.

Really well kept, immaculate condition and very roomy. Comfortable ensuite rooms, great facilities and loads of very useful information. Only two small points - we could not find a teapot in the place and I would like to see a loo brush in the twin bedroom bathroom.
