This was a lovely bed and breakfast and was very well run. The owners and staff made the stay amazing. Billy's cookies are amazing! Well worth the time and money and would highly recommend a stay here.

I think it is a bit misleading. It called an Inn but it’s really a bed and breakfast.
People were noisy coming in at night.
Nobody offered to help with bags up 3 flights.
Pillows were uncomfortable and had makeup stains

Thank you for your review of our bed and breakfast inn. We will respond to the issues you raised one at a time. 1. Occasionally, guests returning from dinner or other destinations do have conversations, and yes, it can happen that someone in a group will tell a joke and that people will laugh. If that is a problem, we would suggest contacting us by telephone prior to making a reservation, so that we can suggest the remotest room in the inn, for purposes of privacy.2. Our 1901 Victorian main house only has two flights of stairs, not three. The office is open until 8:00 PM with luggage assistance available for the asking. 3. Our pillows are hypoallergenic foam, and pillow cases are washed, and exposed to a powerful ozone blast for sterilization (as are all linens and towels during every wash), and finally inspected prior to being put in service. That said, we will inform our head housekeeper of the issue, since this type of situation does not conform to our operating standard. It is clear to us, that our inn is not a good match for you. We would be happy to refer you to some reputable hotels with elevator service and 24 hour concierge service which may be better equipped to help you during future visits to our area.

The Palmer House Inn was a beautiful B&B located within walking distance of shops, dining and Martha's Vineyard ferry. The first thought my wife had was that "they thought of everything!" Every detail was attended to. Inn owner Tom was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. We have stayed at many B&Bs and this one was one of the best!

Owned by a lovely and welcoming couple, the Palmer House Inn boasts a property that honors prominent writers. The Inn’s mascot Brody and the staff truly made the stay at the beautifully aged Victorian home one of a kind. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

This precious gem is located in the center of Falmouth. Restaurants, pubs and shops are within walking distance. B&B owners are helpful and accommodating. We are looking toward booking with Palmer next year. Thank you Bill and Tom.
