Faribault Lake House
Posted Jun. 15, 2024 on HomeAwayPhenomenal place! Sits atop a bluff overlooking a lake with a western view. Large yard where we used the bbq and large kitchen/family/activity room for eating and socializin. Perfect graduation place - SSM, Carleton or St. Olaf all within 15 minute drive.

Far exceed our expectations
Posted Sep. 24, 2023 on HomeAwayProperty was amazing, much nicer than photos showed. Had so much fun playing pickle ball on a private court. Owner was very friendly. 10 of us were there for a wedding. Much much better than our hotel options. Would highly recommend

Sibling getaway

Appreciate everything there is to do here...kayaks, hydro bikes, paddleboards, fire ring, pickleball, pool, games, etc. Water was a bit scummy but maybe that was due to timing? The space is beautifully decorated, spacious, & everyone loved it here. Would highly recommend.

Lakeside Home Retreat

Lots of comfortable space, beautiful views and lake front, and so many extras from water toys to towels, blankets, kitchen utensils, outdoor lounge chairs, and a great beach area for toddlers and adults. Super responsive host and the cleanest VRBO we have stayed in.

Circle Lake house
Posted Jul. 7, 2023 on HomeAwayGreat place to stay. Well laid out with quality and thought of use taken into account. Owners were in contact daily and responsive to any needs. Good place to relax and just enjoy the view. Lake was a bit green but were still able to canoe and use water bikes. Nice beach layout and again quality items - canoe, kayaks and water bikes to use as well as life jackets, etc. Nice place for small children to play in the sand. Overall one of the best places we have stayed at.

Perfect Getaway For Families Of All Ages
Posted Jun. 30, 2023 on HomeAwayThe property is clean and well maintained. The kitchen and living area is spacious and well appointed, complete with a great coffee bar. The layout is perfect because the bedrooms are separate from main living area, so early risers or night owls don’t disturb anyone’s rest. The pickle ball court is amazing! We enjoyed family pickle ball tournaments, lake activities, toasting marshmallows by the fire while watching the sun set on the lake. This private and serene property is a gem!

Nice getaway!
Posted Aug. 30, 2022 on HomeAwayMy family had a wonderful time on this property. Great home, beautiful view of the lake, and everything you might need stocked at the house for you! The owners were incredibly kind and communicated very well with us! Only downfalls: We could hear footsteps upstairs when the owners were walking around, and parking is so far away from the entrance! You need to walk across their large beautiful lawn to get to the front door. They do provide wagons to use which is nice, but it was hard for us with a baby and all the luggage/baby stuff to carry things back and forth when we wanted to leave. Also our shoes would get pretty wet walking across the lawn when the sprinklers were on or had just watered the lawn. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Thanks so much for staying with us! You were amazing guests! As for the unloading/loading of your car, we offer guests the opportunity to unload right at the front door, especially if they have to have elderly or young ones. We also have sound machines thru-out the home, so guests never have to hear anything they don't wish to hear. We ask all guests to read the house manual, where we encourage them to let us know any concerns right away, and not let us know after they leave. Both of these concerns would have been resolved immediately. We've had hundreds of guests have an amazing experience over these last three years! We have one of the highest ratings in Minnesota. Big place!
Posted Aug. 24, 2022 on HomeAwayThis property had plenty of space for me and my 3 girlfriends: 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It has a large kitchen and living area. We had an issue with the blender not working, but another one was brought to us right away. The only thing that bothered us was the owner walked right in after knocking before we knew who it was or us saying come in. Also, the "hidden fees" such as cleaning fee were a bit of a shocker. Other than that we had a great time and made some great memories.

Melissa, thanks for staying at our Airbnb. You were wonderful guests & left the property in great shape. Actually the blender was in working order, but you have to have the top placed on it correctly. If you had put it back on & turned the top 1/4 of a turn, it would have worked fine. No worries, I've done it wrong myself. We are very careful not to disturb our guests. Most of them we only see once, at check in, just to see if they have found everything they need. Most guests are happy we do this, because we have a huge property & not everything is apparent, and easy to find, especially the outdoor water toys & sports equipment. When I knocked on the door bringing you the blender that you had request several minutes before, I thought someone had said come in. My apology. (I will make it a practice not to come in until clearly invited. We never would do anything to make a guest uncomfortable! We have rented this property out over 100 times, and never had one concern about this. Again, my apologies.) Anyway, safe travels in the future. We hope your group will visit us again soon.
