First let me state that I was looking for an inexpensive motel for a one-night stay for a series of running races I was doing. I'm usually the least fussy person in the room...just looking for a clean room and bed...not a lot of amenities. This Motel 6 was one of the worst I've stayed in. The area seemed sketchy...odd people (NOT guests) wandering around the property when I was checking in and bringing my stuff in. The windows are still single-pane, and the motel is on a semi-busy road, so even with ear plugs, I could hear loud cars and motorcycles all night. Guests were coming and going at all hours ALL night long and banging around in their rooms. My room was next to the service/housekeeping room, and THEY were banging around in there at weird times during the night. The heater/AC was on when I arrived, and it was set on cool and low fan, but it was so hot in the room, I had to shut it down completely and open my window for my first hour there...and it was only 50 degrees outside! I left the heater off all night, and even though the outside temp dropped to 18 degrees in the middle of the night, the room stayed ok without any heater on! What the heck would a summer be like?!?!? I don't usually like to complain, but this motel needs some TLC.

It was Tuesdays night and people partying and smoking Marijuana outside the rooms. Also a sign that said Pets allowed and I seen people walking their pets coming out of the rooms. Had to be consistently checking on my vehicle. Did not feel safe in the area.
