Stairs, chairs, and bears oh my!
Publié le 10 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property manager was kind, accommodating, and responsive in communication. She went above and beyond returning left behind items after our stay. The property was unique but somewhat overwhelming in the sheer amount of chairs, pillows and over the top themed rooms. There was very little storage space for pantry items or closet space for clothing or luggage. This house is also five levels and there are lots of stairs. Chipmunks were able to get into the billiard room (converted garage) and the outdoor furniture was weathered and mossy. This property clearly has been loved but needs more attention and decluttering.

Gina , first of all , thank you for the compliment on me as a host.
Your group being of ten adults is typically not our demographic.
So one guests clutter is another guest amenities.
Yes in closets you will find baby gates pack and play, High chairs, Baby monitors.
Extra blankets, Different firmness of pillows. All the things to have everything that a guest could want to have an amazing vacation.
I'm not even sure how to respond to the themed rooms and the number of stairs.
My listing photos are very accurate.
However if you are someone that is not great with stairs.
the beautiful thing about Bearadise is the Main level has everything one needs
Bedroom. Bathroom, Kitchen living room. And being able to access the deck.
Without having to walk one stair.
So as a host that cares deeply about a guest experience. Very sad to see your review.

Beautiful large lake house to make many happy memories!!

The Lake house is cozy and she has everything you need ( well stocked with towels, kitchen items, toys,books,pillows, bedding and more!)

Awesome property and an amazing time!
Publié le 7 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe host Connie was absolutely awesome and so sweet. She was very communicative and responsive. She had the cabin perfectly set up for us before we arrived and was very thoughtful when laying things out for us. The cabin itself is beautiful and very clean. It was plenty of room for us 5 adults and 2 children. Everything we needed for the kids (ages 2 and 6) was already there for us which really helped save room in our car since we didn’t have to bring extra things to entertain them and a pack and play. The kids were very entertained by all the toys inside the cabin and on the beach (which they spent endless hours at). I’m so glad we found this rental. We had an AMAZING time and we will definitely plan to come back again.

Family Vacation
Publié le 21 août 2023 sur HomeAwayWe surprise our kids every Christmas with a cabin trip in the summer. This cabin was beautifully decorated, and it had everything we could possibly need while we stayed there. There were so many fun areas for our entire family to enjoy…relaxing and eating out on the huge deck, every evening we enjoyed the bonfire area, our granddaughters loved the kid playhouse, everyone loved the sandy beach area, lots of floaties, paddle board, paddle boat, and kayaks. The gym on the lower level was a hit, as well as the pool table. By far, one of the nicest cabins we have stayed at and Connie, the host, was exceptional. We all will be talking about this cabin and our family time together here for a very long time!

A family friendly cabin

Annual Family Get Together
Publié le 1 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThe cabin was an awesome location for our annual family gathering! There was no shortage of things to do at the property and the view was beautiful! We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch, main bonfire pit, deck, and basketball court! My nieces had the best time in the very thought out kid rooms (both indoors and outdoors)! Connie was a fantastic host and answered any questions we had. We would absolutely come back!

Spacious home on a quiet lake
Publié le 31 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed our stay at this home. The lake was quiet and the view of the spacious deck enjoyable. We enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and fishing off the dock. The beach front was mucky and the water full of algae, which wasn’t the best for swimming or for the little ones to play. There were many things to entertain the kids and our dogs loved it there.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay.
Unfortunately with the drought the lake front is a little soft. With the water being a foot and a half low this summer.
Slightly confused on what you mean by algae, the DNR listing confirms that they is not a algae problem on this lake, and not present.
We do want to make sure that every guest experience is the best.
And we Have set up the house to be extremely kid friendly.
So as of today we have installed a 12×24 mat so kiddos can play and not touch the bottom of the lake.
Making the lake front barefoot friendly.
We apologize for having to deny your request to bring your daughters two cat, with so many people have Allergies it was the best decision for future guests. So glad you enjoyed the house and all the other amenities.

Family Vacation
Publié le 14 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayThere was plenty for all to do. The kids especially loved the game room and playhouse. They did like going on the floaties but to muddy for them to walk around in the water. Several enjoyed kayaking and watching the loons and other wildlife.
