Staff was friendly, and very helpful! Room was clean. Building could use a little work, elevator was not working, and room kinda had a stinch of smoke. Bed and pillows were ok. It did the job, we stayed two nights and felt safe and the hotel was clean and front desk staff and cleaners did an excellent job.

We arrived to find the elevator out of service, there was active construction as late as 8pm, no earplugs available for guests, windows that wouldn’t close all the way, same for doors, & the beds were very hard. No discounts were offered for the lack of working amenities or the construction interruptions.

After we discovered that our Vrbo was no longer a short term rental, we booked through LaQuinta on Expedia for 3 nights. I should not have done all 3 nights as we have 2 dogs and this would be their first time staying in a hotel. One dog was just too skitterish with all the hall noises so we decided to cut our stay down to just the 1 night. Desk clerk was very understandable. Room was very comfortable. The property looks to be going through a renovation - the elevator was out of order, for the last 3 weeks according to desk clerk when we checked in. The only 3 things our room needed was a better window (seals were bad, cloudy glass), a new shower valve and drywall fixes around shower.

The elevator was broke so we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. Our a/c in the room broke and started to smoke so we had to move rooms at 1030 at night with 4 kids.
