Cozy and Great Location

Mostly fantastic

Only two issues - one: we made reservation and then AFTER we reserved THEN property company sent a ‘mandatory’ questionnaire that had to be submitted before check in or else renter loses their reservation. We made our reservation with less than 14 days - so we couldn’t cancel without paying in full.
In hindsight the questionnaire wasn’t that big of a deal - they wanted info from and a copy of my driver’s license - but the way and manner in which it was presented was a bit off putting. Further, the listing should have clearly spelled this out so that I could have made a more informed decision.
Second - when we arrived we had our ‘check in instructions’ and our magic door code. However, there is a magnetic gate mechanism that requires a code for entrance to the courtyard (and the property). The gate code was not provided ahead of time. The door code and the instructions were also poorly phrased such that we inout the wrong code about 5 times before cracking the code. For example, it stated at the top of the email that our code was 7654. However, step 3 said ‘go to the door and put in your magic code 3245’. It was simply a typo/carryover from prior instructions, but eh.
One last thing - the plumbing makes a weird humming harmonic when water is being used.
All in all everything went well and the host was great. Would stay again.

Additionally, we appreciate your understanding regarding the plumbing issue you encountered. We will have our maintenance team investigate and address the humming harmonic to ensure a more comfortable experience for our guests in the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the DTWN Fay Condo! Great location, free parking, clean and well taken care of. The property owners were very responsive and friendly. Will definitely try to book again on our next trip!

Sigma Chi Mom’s Weekend
Publié le 27 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayMy friend who also has a Sigma Chi at U of A joined me to stay at this fantastic condo for a weekend celebrating time with our boys. We loved the location as we were able to walk to most of our events, and we loved how nice our accommodations were as well! It was a perfect place for us also because we each had our own room and bathroom. It would be nice if each unit had at least 2 parking spaces, but we figured that out by carpooling and parking one car off site. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!!

Great location but terribly dirty
Publié le 6 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe location is great! We had to call day one because there was make up on the pillow cases and duvet and it smelled terrible. The rugs were badly stained. The owners were responsive but brought another duvet with a stain. Their solution to the disgusting stain was to put a bath mat over it. This unit smells of mildew an we left the rental early. I requested a refund on the cleaning fee and I was only offered a partial fee of which I have not received. Renter beware!!
