Stunningly beautiful house and location

Kinda felt like we were in a Vrbo ad…
The house is a beautifully renovated old home just across from the water, and a couple hundred yards from the beach. Beds were luxurious, bookcases of interesting books. The neighbourhood is of older, well looked after houses on a quiet cul de sac on the ocean. Couldn’t be better.

Seaside Wintery Fun
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed Xmas watching waves, winds, rains and on calm days the fishing boats. In the dark at 5am they shine their lights, it's like watching moving stars.
For New Years we had fireworks viewed across the water.
Back Road Map book showed us beaches, trails, roads and we did 1300 km in two weeks. Loved it all.
Rose Bay General Store and Lehave Bakery/Bookshop are awesome.
The house is cozy and elegant. Perfect.

Salty Crib is a gift!

Publié le 26 août 2023 sur HomeAwayThoroughly enjoyed our stay... great location from which to explore area.... spending some precious time with family... view onto Lunenburg Bay was amazing... especially appreciated how easy it was to communicate with the owners - they responded in a very timely fashion... highly recommended... just to be precise - it is close to a 25 minute drive to the town of Lunenburg

Salty Cribb 2 didn't disappoint
Publié le 15 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayOur visit to this area was very memorable. Lots to do and see. So nice to start and end our days in such a beautiful and well appointed home. Loved starting our day on the porch with coffee looking out at the ocean. Saw tons of wildlife there. Watched Bluenose 2 and Eastern Star sail by. Many great destinations very close to home.
Wouldn't hesitate to come again.

Publié le 30 mai 2023 sur HomeAwayThis beautiful home was so inviting, it was hard to leave. It made us feel that our stay was far too short. We enjoyed every moment in this lovely appointed home. So many little special quaint items in the home, it truly gave you the feeling you were in your own home. There were antique binoculars, and old interesting books everywhere, nice areas to sit and look out at the spectacular view, or read or write or both. There were so many little extras and everything was very easy to use, with great directions on everything you needed to know to make your stay seamless and comfortable. I would stay again in a heart beat, I wish we owned this piece of heaven. I reccomend it 100%, something for everyone.

Winter getaway.

Very peaceful place. Would recommend it!
