THE PROPERTY:
Single level pole barn home, rustic, country feel. Very large open plan living room and new kitchen. Large master bedroom with en-suite toilet / vanity and a separate shower room. Entrance lobby doubles as a work-from-home area and the outdoor space has a fire pit, picnic table, grill, hot tub and is fully fenced (6’ high!)

The property has been decorated fully this year, with a new kitchen and bathroom. We are dog friendly and the property is cleaned to the highest standards.

Two bedrooms, one with king bad and direct access to the bathroom. The second room is cozy had has a queen bed, with direct access to the fully fenced back yard, hot tub and patio seating. Perfect for letting the dogs out in the morning and having a coffee watching the sunrise.

THE LOCATION:
Private countryside is one of the property's best features but it's also minutes from Saugatuck Downtown, the lake and local attractions that include Virtue Cider, Fenn Valley Winery and if you fancy an afternoon of apple picking, Cranes Orchard is down the road; the Dunes Buggy Ride is a must, it's a real hoot for all ages!

The house is secluded within it's own 4 acre lot, giving you privacy for your stay and it provides a perfect location for jaunts into neighboring Saugatuck and Douglas and all the amazing activities there, which made USA Today vote it ‘Top 10 Best Lake Towns in North America US destination’. Doggo will also love the huge fully fenced yard!

GETTING AROUND:
Easy access to downtown Saugatuck, Douglas and Fennville. If you don't feel like driving, the Inter-Urban collects and drops-off at 127th Ave and 60th, which is a short walk to the cabin. The service shuttles people between main attractions along its route and will even come and collect you when you call them! Instacart also delivers groceries!

So Close and Yet So Wonderfully Far Away
My husband and I wanted to get away from Indianapolis and hopefully see a little snow between Christmas and New Year's Day. (Little did we know that there would be snow in Indy the first week of January.) This farmhouse is 10 minutes away from downtown Saugatuck but out in the country. Our hound LOVED the fenced in yard. We enjoyed downtown Saugatuck/Douglas with the laid back winter crowd. Downtown honestly looks like a Hallmark movie with all the Christmas lights and the fireworks on New Year's Eve. The property manager was great to work with and we hope to return next Christmas.

Great Getaway with Dogs
Amazing property for people with medium/large dogs! The only thing missing is the availability of onsite laundry or extra linens for guests with dogs and/or longer stays. I would highly recommend this property for pet parents wanting to be close to Saugatuck, Douglas, South Haven and Holland.

Fall in Fennville at The Farmhouse!
After some trouble at check-in (which Ash handled quickly and efficiently!), our stay was absolutely perfect! The Farmhouse is well equipped for the comfort of people and dogs! We had beautiful weather and the fall colors in the area were amazing. The location is great for easily accessing all the area has to offer, from beaches to wineries to golf courses to shopping. We hope to return to this beautiful piece of paradise next time we need a break from the daily grind!

Highly Recommend Staying Here!
Everything about our stay was 10/10. The place was spotless and stocked with all the essentials, and more. You can tell Ash really cares about his guests’ experience. The location was perfect. Secluded but only a few minutes drive to Saugatuck/Douglas, and about a 20 minute drive to Holland! Communication was great too. Ash was very quick to respond to messages, very mindful about checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was going well. We travel with our dog and the fenced in space was amazing for him. He loved it! The pictures don’t do it justice. Overall just a great experience. Definitely book here if you’re thinking about it!

Human Friendly Amazing Place for Dogs
We loved our stay here but our pup loved it even more! This place is made for families with dogs—dog blankets on all the furniture, epoxy covered concrete floors, dog treats and poop bags on the shelf, and great fenced in areas for the dog to run. It’s quite large of a space and the beds and bedding were top notch. Even the towels were soft. Gorgeous and well supplied kitchen. Was great walking in the mornings past the nearby farms. Would absolutely stay there again

End of Summer Fun
We stayed with two pups and two kiddos and enjoyed the spacious backyard! The property was quiet and also just a short drive to many restaurants and attractions. The host was great at communicating things to see ahead of our visit too.

I highly recommend this property and its owner. The attention to details and the welcoming amenities for dogs is something I've never seen. We felt right at home. Such a peaceful, beautiful location. Will most definitely return.

Amazing place, amazing owner!
This place checks all the boxes. Perfect countryside location close to Saugatuck shops, orchards, hiking trails and beaches. It had plenty of room for our two kids and two dogs, all the amenities plus more, and it is very well kept. The owner Ash was commendable. We had an incident with our heeler pup and Ash was more concerned about the pup than the damage which he came out to repair as soon as we checked out. A good guy and a true gem of a place. 5 stars all around.

Beautiful cabin
The cabin was beautiful and very clean. The pups enjoyed the fenced in yard which is a must for me when I travel :) The owner Ash was responsive, communicative and very helpful. Close to Saugatuck and Douglas if you want to enjoy great food and atmosphere. The cabin was very peaceful, great for must needed getaway for busy people :) Would definitely recommend and will be back again hopefully soon :) Thank you again Ash for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay, as did our dog (there is plenty of space for dogs to explore). Peaceful location. We used the hot tub, fire pit and grill. Close proximity to many fun places to visit…wineries (we also liked Virtue Cider place), Felt Mansion trails, Douglas, Holland, etc.

We love our pups!
Having had a pug for 18 years, we know the difficulty of finding a good home away from home where we can feel safe with our pups and have a fun vacation. This place is very well equipped for pups and pup people. The fencing allows for easy in and out for the dogs. The Interurban was a perfect way to get into Saugatuck and not have to search for a parking place. It was an easy quick pickup and return on demand. Perfect!

Very Nice appearance
We are seniors so our criticism is mostly due to the fact that seniors naturally have a few more aches and pains. First of all the look of the Farm House was nice and fun. Thoughtfulness for our dog ws great and to have a fenced in yard was phenomenal!There were thoughtful toiletries and linens available for guests. I appreciated the beach towels but I missed wash clothes. As an old folk with back pain here is serious complaint. The couch was low to the ground and hard to get up from. In fact, it added to our pain. The beds were ok, but had the common problem of a sink-in on the side of the bed from so many folks sitting on the edge. Directions would help for: 1 The smart thermostat 2 TVs: what subscriptions and how to make the bedroom TVs work 3 Info on the jacuzzi

Country Pooch Paradise
This place is incredible! Ash our host… Incredible!! There is nothing he hasn’t thought of to make our stay perfect! Our dogs were in heaven! Huge fenced in property…so much stimulus for canine enrichment! Location was great for day trips.. both north and south on the coastline of Michigan..Grocery store and several small local restaurants within 5 minutes…EVERYTHING was first class!

Amazing!
This place is nothing short of amazing! It is impeccably decorated, spotless and is in a perfect location. I can’t say enough great things. The hosts have thought of everything for both the humans and any four legged friends that may be joining you.
