A wonderful stay at the Gingerbread house
Publié le 14 déc. 2022 sur HomeAwayI first stayed at the Ginger bread house in the 80ies not long after it became a B&B. It is just as wonderful now as it was then. From tea time to the stroll in the garden is was a magical stay. The one draw back was booking through VRBO. I was not able to contact the hostess directly and wasn't sure how to check in. It is best to make reservations by directly calling them. There was a guest there who had called in the afternoon and was able to get a room that night. The dining room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. A great weekend get away.

Publié le 18 août 2020 sur HomeAwayThis property is a beautifully restored Victorian. No detail was sacrificed. I would consider this more of a boutique hotel than a B&B. It’s not as personal as a small B&B, but management and staff were all nice people. We’d recommend it if you want to experience staying in an authentic Victorian home walking distance to town.
