Dear Monica,I thank you for your review, which I would like to reply, because there are some points that are not correctly true.We are very happy that you appreciated our location that is a typical farm hotel in the tuscan countryside. Our Locanda has different kind of rooms, and the one reserved to you was renovated from an old barn, for which the finishing of the wooden beams, terracotta floors and the room itself, built on a comfortable wooden mezzanine, are to be appreciated! For our choice there is no air conditioning or television, and if these services are essential for your stay, they should be always well considered when you are going to make a reservation! We would like to offer a simple and real concept of holiday, to rediscover your well-being and tranquility in contact with nature. It was a very hot time, that's true, there's a fan in the room and anyway it would have been possible to contact the reception and possibly ask for a room change, our team always tries to satisfy guests' requests as much as possible. The wifi connection is in the whole locanda, even if being in the countryside there may sometimes be some slowdowns. Therefore it works well.We like to empathize with all our customers, this was not the case, because we have always seen you "taken away" by the pc.About the restaurant, our kitchen is focused on our organic products trying to propose an home made and traditional tuscan food, offering each evening a different courses dinner menu, paying attention to allergies or particular requests. We are sorry that, you have not appreciated all other food proposals offer to you. Anyway I'd like to underline that the amount paid 29,00 was: restaurant 20,00 + a glass of wine 5,00 + 4,00 for tourist tax. You have not paid at all something extra for breakfast, absolutely not! The room's cost had already been paid to Expedia and breakfast was included in it.!!!I'm sure that if you had let us know your disappointment immediately, you certainly wouldn't have lost 130,00 because we would have been able to find another solution. I am very sorry that you were not completely satisfied, and yes that's true that my collegue could ask the reason of your earlier departure... from our side we will try to do better the next time.
