A comfortable house close to amenities

True it's in a very narrow side street and the outlook is far from pretty, but it's in a very convenient location. Inside there's everything you need, and the property is well cared for. It's literally a couple of minutes' walk to the sea. Shops, pubs, restaurants all handy. We arrived during very bleak weather, strong winds and driving rain. Once that cleared, Filey didn't disappoint. Surely one of the best traditional sea fronts anywhere! And that beach! Wow! If you get a chance to walk out to the end of the Brigg and look around the corner towards Scarborough, the cliff scenery is magnificent (quite reminded us of Cornwall). The people were friendly (what do you expect, it's Yorkshire!) We'll certainly be back to Filey.

Great short break
