Kids were upset that the pool was shut down for a night due to someone puking in the pool. One of the reasons we came was for the pool but they got to swim for a little before we had to check out in the morning.

First of all, our room was not ready at 4 and when i asked for a discount they told me no, not at all. They told me that if the room was not ready at 6 then i could talk to the manager. I like to take baths and i was very dissappointed to find that the tub had a big crack in it and didnt hold water. There is not one picture in the room or bathroom so its very drab and not cozy at all. Smallest room we have ever stayed in with hardly any room to have your bags and walk around. Very small. The coffee is horrible and we even used 3 coffee packets and still tasted like water. They simply do not care here. Staff was terrible on the phone when i called to get checkin time and even interrupted me when i was talking, but they were nice at the front desk.

Is this the best they can do?
Rude awakening 6am to the fire Alarm. Everyone left the building but was unclear as when we could return. Zero communication. No apology. I didn’t want nor ask for a discount because of the intrusion on a Saturday morning. However, an apology would’ve helped even more so communication as to when we could return to the room. The overall state of the hugely is slightly run down and paper thin walls.

Recommended beach hotel!
Wonderful hotel on the beach, every room has a view and access to the sands footsteps away. There is a great pool jacuzzi and kids water play area (indoors), a cafe/restaurant and tavern onsite (limited hours). Rooms are a bit old but they were comfortable and the near full size kitchens with breakfast bars makes it easy to prepare snacks and food. Full sized empty refrigerators. Location is off the highway so the only sounds you have are thundering surf.

Right on the beach, beautiful kitchen included, spacious, nice bathroom. But the beds were older, not comfortable, not enough blankets. The heater was VERY noisy so I had to turn it off in order to sleep. Wish the TP was a better quality.

#1 the coffee was awful, the stove top was dirty. Elevator was dirty. Loved the location, that was awesome. Easy parking. Reasonable price. Easy access to town and hwy. 101.

I’ve been here multiple times, on the beach with great access. The best indoor swim area for kids of any place on the Oregon coast, hands down, I’ve stayed in many places Florence north. For best views ask for an upper room either central or north end of property, this was my first time staying at the southern end and it faces north a bit so not the same sunset view from inside room. Always clean, always friendly. Florence isn’t my favorite town, although old town is pretty great for shops, but this is a great place and very reasonable pricing. I get a room with a kitchen and stop Fred Meyer for supplies and then don’t need to leave for the duration of my stay so super relaxing.
