Great Location
Great location as it is a five minute walk from the Florence main train station. Clean but for American travelers pleasse note this a basic european style hotel as it did have a atached bathroom, desk, fridge and coffee maker but the rooms are small in comparison. Again if you are staying one or two nights to see the Statue of David and the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore which are short walks then it is a perdfect hotel... If the price is less than a 150 euros a night.

Perfect stay while in Florence
Loved how close it was to the train station. Walking distance to everything.The beautiful exterior and interior made it very appealing. The room was great size and very clean. Breakfast was a huge plus with freshly served espresso and Cappuccino if you like and assortment of pastries and eggs and meats/cheeses. Would highly recommend.

Very close to Santa Maria Novella station. Pretty peaceful considering its location. The staff was every polite and friendly. Hassle free checkin.

Very old hotel/room. We were in a room on the first floor near the elevator. Noise: other people closing doors etc: very noisy from the inside. Not from the voices but the doors. Comfort: this was a room with 3 beds. All were 20 years or more past their prime for the mattress. Bugs: ants on the pillow. Mosquitoes inside the room (we didn’t open any window) likely coming from some holes in the bathroom wall. Staff informed when checking out (luckily this was only for one night): “we will tell the cleaning folks to do a better job. Bathroom: uncovered hole where the pipes go through the wall for the shower. Likely a source of mosquitoes breeding and flying. Toilets that clogged “without cause”. Step going down from bathroom to room: small unmarked step: remember it at night because you will hit it with your toes. Overall, we will. Ever go there again. Location: super convenient near the train station. Bathroom

Our bidet was not properly cleaned prior our arrival (still had feces). The location is great but the facilities are outdated and so are the rooms and lights. Staff was helpful and breakfast was fair. The toilet cover button was falling apart. I hope they can renew it soon. Not staying there again.
