Great location beautiful rental
Posted Nov. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayWe were a group of 7, all adults this location was great. 10 to 15 walk to almost everything. The rental was great, and beautiful. This may have been my fault but we had an elderly person with us and it was a little hard for her to use the stairs, but we made it work. Both bedrooms are up on top of 3 floors. Middle flóor was the loft which had a sofa bed. Overall I thought the vrbo was great. Thank you

No notice the company had double booked the apartment we had paid for 20 days before
Posted Oct. 27, 2024 on HomeAwayThe company canceled our reservations, but never infoes us until we requested check in instructions, 2 hours before our arrival. Their response was the computer system had booked 2 reservations, even though the system had no issue sending me a 2nd payment notice. The reservation was for
6 people, they offered as an alternative a 5 person apartment. They made no offer to compensate us for the $80 and travel rental difference or the stress and inconvenience. It’s only fair to be reimbursed $250.

The inside steps were to the bedrooms this was not clear on the property description
Other observations
—1st floor bathroom toilet keeps running
— air conditioners were not very cooling
— refrigerator light bulb is flashing -may need to be replaced

Iconic Florence Stay
Posted Jul. 26, 2024 on HomeAwayThis was my friends and I first time in Florence, we wanted a place close to the action so we could walk places. This was the perfect location for us, right near the river, near shops and restaurants, and a close walk to all of the sites.
Also, big bonus in the Italian summer it had AC. We loved the aesthetic of the home, it was classic and beautiful. Plenty of space for our group which had 5 of us and a baby. There are quite a bit of stairs, so make sure you are comfortable with that. If it’s not an issue, than this is the perfect spot.
The hosts were very easy to communicate with, and the check in process was easy as well.
We definitely would stay here again if we were in Florence! Thank you!!!

Location Location Location
Posted Jul. 12, 2024 on HomeAway1st impression. This apartment is on the top floor and the elevator is a 2person max that is very finicky. So if you are a family, like we were, with luggage for everyone it is a very challenging process as you will have to stack some luggage and only one person will fit. Inside the apartment, it is a 2 bedroom with an open loft. The 2 bedrooms each have their own en-suite bathroom but they are all very small. Like cruise ship small. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds. The open loft has a sofa bed but you will either have to go downstairs or upstairs into a bedroom to use a bathroom. The living area is very spacious. Kitchen has a lot to be desired but honestly how much are you using that anyway. It has a dorm room style fridge but can easily hold some drinks if needed
Now onto the location. This place is in a magnificent location and that trumps everything else in my mind. I would 100% stay here again because of that. I would definitely recommend unless you have someone that can’t really deal with stairs as the elevator to get up to the floor is tricky and the stairs inside the apartment are plentiful and very steep and tight.

Very Dissatisfied
Posted Jul. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayBe careful in booking this place! The pictures are deceiving. The staircase in the unit that goes up two levels is too narrow and small steps. My husband is 6’5” and a big man with bad knees. We explained that it is too difficult for my husband to navigate the necessary staircase. The elevator only fits one person and worked sometimes. We had to find, last minute, other accommodations. The owner will not give us a refund, partial or otherwise. Not a good way to do business!

Amazing location and lots of steps!

We used the kitchen every morning for breakfast and sat around the table every evening sharing stories and playing games. The location is amazing - you can walk to anything from the apartment within 15 minutes (the train station, every major attraction and great shopping). Be aware, that if you have anyone who is not super mobile, there IS an elevator to the apartment, but within the apartment itself all of the bedrooms require very steep stairs. We would stay there again - super quiet, very clean and fantastic location.

Fantastic flat in the heart of Florence

The location was perfect and we had plenty of space for all six of us to sleep and each shared a bathroom/shower with one person from our group. Great location
Posted Jun. 5, 2024 on HomeAwayThis location couldn't have been any better. It is close to everything. We had a good stay and lots of great memories.
Finding the location wasn't easy apple maps had us a block away, the instructions via email didn't help much and communication with the host was hit and miss. It says it sleep 7 and that is really pushing it. The listing say 3 rooms in one spot and 4 rooms in another spot. It’s 2 rooms an a loft and there is a cot for a 7th person you can pull into a room or the loft. The apartment is much darker than the pictures lead you to believe. We had lots of stairs everywhere we stayed in Italy but this place had by far the most. If you don't have someone with some muscle this isn't the place for you if you have suitcases.
