Room is as pictured, but AC is very old and won’t cool the room. I slept with the windows opened but then got bit by mosquitoes badly. But good bank for your buck especially if only staying one night.

The room is clean and very Tuscan. It’s about a 6 minute walk from the train station which can be very convenient if travelling out. It’s about 2 minutes to the Arno River in a safe area and across the street from the best little bakery in Florence. Self check in was easy and smooth. We arrived later than the official check in but let them know. It was no problem and super easy

WiFi did not work during my stay, dirty glasses in hotel room, kinda dirty room in general. Wasn’t bad enough to be grossed out but wouldn’t recommend or stay longer than needed. Also got no response from the hotel once during my stay. Sadly wouldn’t recommend

I genuinely hated staying at this hotel. Here is everything wrong with it: 1. You enter a dark and creepy building that smells musty and unclean. If you inconvenience them by checking in after 6 pm, you are charged 30 euros which makes no sense since there is no reception. 2. The hotel room smelled quite musty which meant that we had to keep the windows open for the majority of the time that we stayed to keep the air flowing. The shower had quite a bit of mold or mildew on the walls and the small fridge had mold growing in it. Note that they do not do ANY cleaning at all while you are there regardless of the length of your stay. 3. The mattress was extremely old and likely purchased second hand. It was so old that there were two permanent big dips on either side where people have laid. It desperately needs to be replaced. 5. There is a wifi connection, but we were unable to access internet on it for the entirety of our stay. 6. The shower did not drain and the AC unit did not work at all. 7. The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything going on in the street and in the hallway. 8. We brought our concerns to the management, but nothing was done to rectify any of it. The response was “I’m sorry to hear that.” Also, they charge €7 per person per night as city tax because they are a ‘historical’ building. Watch out for this. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else. There are much nicer and cleaner places in the city for the same price.

Easy access for attractions
Comfortable and easy access for local attractions here. A little impersonal as access is through remote instruction - no staff present. Wi-fi doesn’t work most of the time we visited and when it does it’s very weak. A nice room however and a fair price.

Wifi didn’t work in the property after requesting for it to be fixed. Bed was uncomfortable as it sunk your body into the mattress. No reception for the stay at all. However, staff were contactable via whatsapp and accommodated our request for an earlier check in. Location was very accessible for many restaurants, key point of tourism and train station.

The apartment faces a busy street and is noisy late into the evening and early morning. We had to use a white noise app to try to drown out the street noise. The internet only worked in the early morning. I believe that all of the apartments shared a single connection so if anyone else was online then each user only got a very, very small portion of the pipeline. Don't expect anything fancy or extra in the room. There isn't even a box of tissues. The mattress needs to be replaced.
