Publié le 6 sept. 2021 sur HomeAwayMagnifique appartement dans une bâtisse d’époque. Très confortable, frais, spacieux et très propre situé près de tout ce qu’on peut vouloir faire ou visiter à Florence. Hôte très agréable. Un tres tres bon plan!

Mignon et extrêmement central
Publié le 11 août 2019 sur HomeAwayFace au Palazzo Vecchio on ne peut être mieux situer pour visiter Florence tout étant très près à pied. Central mais sans bruit gênant dans l’appartement. Idéal pour ceux qui comptent passer leur journée à visiter. Un peu sombre pour ceux qui veulent rester à l’appartement en revanche même s’il est très joliment décoré.

Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe enjoyed the apartment and location. All four of us had challenges with mosquitoes. We did not open the windows because there were no screens. I would charge more and install screens. The noise at night from the square was disturbing- more than we anticipated.

Perfect Location… and true time machine!

This property is historic and we found it special to stay in a place that is so authentic. The location is incredible and just footsteps from historic spots in the city center.

Just one recommendation: please add a colour key for the recycling bins. We had no idea what was meant to go in which bin.

Delightful and magic

The flat is in an authentic, well-maintained palazzo whose massive wooden door opens directly on the Piazza Della Signoria. Despite being located on a popular tourist piazza, the flat was quiet. The bedroom windows looked out into a lively side street, but still - the rooms were quiet at night. We had two generous bedrooms, as my husband snores and is a restless sleeper. Everything worth seeing - including shopping, dining and museums and sites - was within an easy 5 to 10 minute walk from the dwelling. We were a12 minute walk from the train station and the Fortezza da Basso, where we were attending a medical conference. Grocery stores were within 5 minutes walk. The flat has all the modern conveniences and everything is in good working order. There are 2 TV screens for viewing on a quiet evening. The flat decor was the most charming - rustic -style with floor tiles, dark wood furniture, large wooden ceiling beams and dark -iron beds with crisp white linens. The kitchen was well-equipped. The hosts were quick to respond to any and all questions. I highly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Publié le 3 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe apartment was exactly as advertised. Air conditioning worked very well, which was much appreciated given the mid 90’s temperatures. We arrived early and we were allowed in. The apartment was rustic and very comfortable. The location was PERFECT! It was within easy walking distance to virtually everywhere we wanted to go, including the train station. Thank you to Pietro and Gaia! If I return to Florence I will seek to stay here again before looking anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.

In the Heart of Venice
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayProperty is right on the Palazzo Vecchio and all the major tourist attractions are very easy to access from the apartment. A lot of old world character the apartment. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked well and was a much needed break from the Florence heat in July. Directions for check-in were easy to follow and required no personal interaction. It would have been nice to get a slightly earlier check-in, but the door access app appears to be hard coded to only work after check-in time.

We felt safe and secure, and even though it was in the middle of a busy area it was quiet at night. The unit is well equipped with lots of space. The air conditioning works great which was very nice during July!
