The hotel is well located, it is the one closest to the entrance to the Tikal site. It is well designed and conceived, done in simple good taste. The rooms are small and spartan but the beds comfortable. Two coat hangers was very stingy, a minimum of six would be more in order. Hope for quiet neighbours as the rooms are not well soundproofed and people walk in front of the rooms which have louvered windows. Since most of them think that they are alone in the world it is noisy. The toilets and showers are collective but I was almost always alone when I used them, they are very clean. The Continental breakfast was excellent with a huge plate of fruits good for two or three people. The rest of the meals ar a tad expensive but not excessive considering the quality of the service and of the dining room. I had supper at Comedor Tikal outside but it was also overpriced by Guatemala standards and the food ordinary. I had a hamburger for Lunch at the Jungle lodge and it had the slimmest patty of beef that I had ever seen, pick something else. The wifi is the slowest that I had in Guatemala, just barely useful for emails, if you are very, very patient. Not cheap, but nothing is in Tikal. A fair deal for one night. A nice pool but with blurred water, I did not test it, but a pleasant place to rest.
