Most disappointing stay of my 3wk trip

The location of this hotel was the nicest thing about it but there are many hotels of equal quality next door and around the corner that I will check out the next time I am in Flores. The owner was nice enough and checked us in. The hotel was an Ecolodge that used rain water/solar for hot showers and that they are energy conscience. Our room was fine, bathroom was very small--sit on the toilet and hit your knees on the door. We had no soap for washing your hands or showering with. We had to ask and none was ever brought to us. We just rinsed off in the showers after a long day traveling on the bus. My daughter could not shower on her own bc the shower knob was located 6' high next to the actual shower head. The room had a balcony that was very small. The AC in the room needed to be serviced as it only worked on the Lowest setting. It took about 3-4 hours for the room to cool off and the ceiling fan was dying as it made a loud grinding noise when turned on. Wifi is only in the lobby spaces and not in the individual rooms. Worst part of the stay was that my 6yo daughter accidentally left her tablet in the room before we left to go home to Belize city. I contacted the owner and told him where she had left it. He returned to state that the tablet was not found. We left the hotel that morning to catch a bus at 8am and the tracker on the tablet indicated that it was on wifi(most likely in the lobby of the hotel) around 1pm so most likely it was stolen by staff. Very disappointing.

kaari, you have had a beautiful and newly renovated westside lakeview room with a brand new LG brand aircondition unit. In case of your daughter not being able to turn oon the shower, please turn it on for her. I asked you on checkin if you would like to have soap and shampoo, you kindly denied mentioning that you carrying your own. To your accusation: We have a lost and found safe storage room where we store all lost or forgotten belongins until reclaimed. I personaly revise every room after checkout and before cleaning mostly for damaged amenities and secondly for left behind or forgotten items from previous guests. Common procedure in hotels. I havent found a tablet or any other electronic devices in your room. If the tablet connects to the hotels wifi as you claim it most likely was used in the public wifi area and left behind there. I have small children as well I know how hard it is if a toy gets lots. Please look after your kids and your belongings. I understand your frustation but you cannot accuse someone of theft for left behind belongings, much less so if left in public areas.

Please take responsibility of your own budget. You were ordering freely for almost three days, at the end you had difficulties paying. Our staff was very friendly and patient, even giving you a discount at the end. This review is out of place.

ロケーションは素晴らしいのだが、難点あり。ちょっと書きにくいことだが、ここのオーナーだが支配人だかの感じ悪し、、それを気にしなければお勧め。

久しぶりにこんなに横柄で感じの悪い接客を受けた。チェックインのときも自分はでんと座って面倒くさそうにちゃっちゃっと説明し石鹸とシャンプーをポンと置いた。部屋には工事中かと思うぐらいの穴が天井に2ヶ所開いている。wifiもつながりが悪くブチブチ切れる。
