We would love to have stayed more than one night - Hotel Floyd is quirky, comfortable and just minutes walk from shops, eateries and the awesome Floyd Country Store.
We were in one of the ‘back porch’ rooms, accessed by a pleasant shared terrace for sitting out. Our bathroom was pretty tiny but it was clean and more than adequate with plenty of towels. Nice to have two comfortable chairs rather than just one.
There was a coffee maker in the room and you could also get coffee in the shared lounge in the main building.
The hotel felt really individual and staff were lovely and helpful throughout.
Breakfast wasn’t the best we’ve had at this price point but it wasn’t the worst either and there was always someone clearing up and replenishing food where necessary. It filled us up as we headed out into the tail end of Hurricane Helene.
Just one point - we appreciate toiletries in the bathroom but would have preferred them not to be in single use plastic bottles which are not environmentally friendly.

Our room was very clean and spacious. We loved the rocking chairs outside of our room. It’s close to downtown so we could walk to eat & shop. The employees were very friendly. Would recommend staying at this hotel.

Very well maintained! Very large room ! I liked the patio areas with rocking chairs ! Very nice property ! I would definitely stay here again !
