Love the location and the property was great. Though there were some minor areas of wear that a little paint touch up would take care of. It was so easy to find and access. Instructions were very clear and they were always available when there were questions and got back to us right away. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Great place to take in the gorgeous view

This is one of the hardest reviews I have done. We loved the property and location. We love Folly Beach and would rent here again. Our only issue was communication with property management regarding mold (looks like black mold) in the main bathroom ceiling. When we notified management on Sunday, we were asked if we were going to be at the property? We told them yes, so we stayed in Sunday to Monday morning. No one contacted us or stopped by. On Sunday we closed the bathroom door and did not use that bathroom the rest of our stay. Missing out on the soaker tub. We called again on Wednesday was told it was mildew and we were not at any health risk. We did ask to see the report that it was mildew but never received it. We were told that Servpro would be coming by on Thursday to take a look at the mold. The service rep told us that it was wet and had to be sent off for testing. They sprayed it with something and put a dehumidifier in the bathroom. We have rented from Vrbo many times and have been contacted before we checked in if there was anything going on at the property. We never received any notification of the mold in the bathroom at this property . Transparency and trust go hand in hand.

Needs a good cleaning

This property was very dirty and we did not feel comfortable. The coffee table was fixed with duct tape and there was mold in the bathroom. I would not stay at this property again .

What a wonderful weekend with family. Easy check in and check out. Great communication throughout from start to check out. Would definitely stay here again.

Not worth the money

What we expected was a well maintained unit for the money we spent. What we got was a unit that has been used and abused. Black soot or something one the ceiling by air ducts. One toilet seat had almost fallen off. One toilet did not refill unless you took off tank lid and giggled the float. Cockroaches all over the kitchen and had to go to store to buy roach spray. Saw a couple that were as big as my thumb. All cabinets in bath and kitchen were pealing and chipped. The coffee table had a big chunk broken off the corner. When we complained, the response was, “did It look like that in the online photos?” And, “well, some owners upgrade and maintain the places better than others”. We eceived a $150 credit off a future rental but if this unit is representative of other units, I doubt we would return. I guess if you can get past the condition of the unit and the roaches, it’s in a beautiful location in a quaint beach town, but I wouldn’t rent unit 112!

Loved Folly Beach, Disappointed in Unit

First time to Folly Beach and we loved the area. We will be back but will not rent this unit. 1. The washing machine did not have cold water. This was noted in a review in August of 2020 and has still not been fixed. 2. Great view of beach! 3. Unit is in the very middle of the building and it is a walk to get to and from beach access. 4. Worst stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental unit. Looked nice but very minimal pots & pans, bowls, & no storage containers. 5. Unit is long overdue for updating-painting, bathrooms, etc. We will return to Folley Beach and I would stay in this building again but could NOT rent Charleston Oceanfront Villas 112.

NICE GETAWAY

THE FACILITY PROVIDED AN AMAZING PLACE FOR OUR FAMILY TO GET TOGETHER AND ENJOY A PEACEFUL AND BEAUTIFUL LOCATION. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE AMMENITIES AND SHOPS. WE HAD AN AMAZING TIME.
