Thanksgiving at Folly Beach
Publié le 3 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is a perfect house for Thanksgiving at the beach. Our dogs loved it. We had quick access to the beach and loved watching the sunrise and sunset every day. We were close to town and walked to get coffee, shop and get lunch. It was the perfect house. The management team was great.

Perfect location

Only issue was we had to buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and laundry detergent.Other VRBO's that we have stayed in had a supply of items. Other than that it was amazing. Next time I will be a little more prepared and will ask more questions.

Weekend beach trip

Exactly as Advertised!
Publié le 8 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house did not disappoint! Great location, we could walk to the beach and the downtown shops/restaurants. Plenty of room for our family (six adults, three kids (ages 4, 6 & 8) spring break trip.

Not What We Bargained For

Dishwasher badly broken and barely usable, cabinet door falling off hinges, walls and trim badly scuffed and scratched and need to be caulked and repainted, floors in kitchen badly worn, can't wipe the table enough to get the sticky off, dishes and pans had to be washed before using, the fridge has an ice maker and water dispenser but it doesn't work, pillows are horrible and extras which were provided are badly stained (should be thrown away) and so much more. I would not ever stay at this house again. Not a good value.

Thanks for the honest feedback Bradley! We would have been happy to address any concerns you had during your stay had we been informed prior to your last day. We ask guests to contact us ASAP if they need anything so we can resolve issues quickly. We would have been happy to send housekeeping or leave more pillows. One cabinet door needed a screw tightened, this has been addressed. Paint tends to get scuffed in vacation rentals. Walls are painted and touched up regularly. The dishwasher and water dispenser have been inspected and are operating as they should. This home does not have ice maker, but ice cube trays are provided. For this reason, we do not have an ice maker on the amenity list. Pillows were replaced a few months ago, but we will inspect them again. This house isn't for everyone, but we have a lot of very satisfied repeat guests. Thank you again for your business!

Fun at Folly
Publié le 14 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayGreat house for 8-10 people. Kitchen has everything you need. Screened in back porch and out old showers a nice plus. Nice front porch for more relaxing. Lovely bedrooms and baths. Close to eveything. MUCH closer to beach than we expected using the path. Close enough to town to walk!
