Les visites de châteaux situés proche de Fontevraud, de Saumur, de Tours et son musée du Compagnonnage.

Fantastic place to stay

Communication with the owner was brilliant. We found his helpfulness, knowledge of everything local and recommendations invaluable.

Perfect little cottage
Publié le 1 nov. 2018 sur HomeAwayThe location is perfect, just a quick walk to the bakery, shop and entrance to the Abbey. The property is furbished to a very high standard and makes for a comfortable stay in a beautiful village and not far from all the other Chateaux and Vineyards. There is plenty of kitchen equipment and it was lovely to have a full oven, toaster, kettle, etc.
We found that you can buy an annual pass to the Abbey for just 14Euros which seemed to make more sense that a single entry at 11 Euros, and we enjoyed many walks around the Abbey and took our time to see all the various areas. There is parking just a few steps from the apartment and was easy to park there but we were there in early Oct and are led to understand that it gets busy in July/Aug..... All in all a great place to stay.
