What I do find amusing is that most motels provide a kettle which is much appreciated but the access to the taps in the hand basin is always too short or too awkward to enable a person to fill the kettle. It’s a little slow filling the kettle by cup by cup. Perhaps a small jug might help😉

We booked a room with two beds and when we turned up we only had one, the place was full and the owner offered no alternatives so i tried sharing with my 16 yo son but he ended up sleeping on the floor.

Fantastic! We were running late and the property saw to it that we were able to retrieve our key. Great!

The bed was comfty but the pillows were terrible, couldn't sleep because of them.
They also charged our payment of the room twice, claiming the first charge didn't go through, though when i had checked, it had gone through and cleared.
