We want you to enjoy your vacation to the fullest and feel right at home during your stay. Located in the heart of Forest Grove, our property is nestled in a quiet and friendly neighborhood with tree-lined streets and charming homes. Within walking distance, guests can explore a variety of local shops, cafes, and restaurants, as well as parks and trails for outdoor activities. The nearby Pacific University campus adds to the lively and academic atmosphere of the neighborhood. With easy access to the main highway, guests can also venture out to nearby attractions such as the Oregon Coast, wine country, and downtown Portland.

You can access this home at your leisure via our self-guided check-in process. This home is easily accessible by car, located just off the main highway. Guests will have access to the entire house, including a private entrance, parking space, and backyard. Please note that the property is not wheelchair accessible, as it requires climbing a set of stairs to reach the front door.

For guests who prefer to drive, our property offers a private parking space, as well as easy access to the main highway.

The location of this home is unbeatable. You can easily walk to Pacific University, just a few minutes away - or take a 5-minute drive to McMenamins Grand Lodge.

Please note- There are two queen-sized bedrooms with a standard small couch that can sleep 1 more. There is a small backyard space but no fence.

Negative review
The house had not been cleaned nor had the linens been washed and beds remade when we arrived. After contacting the owner - he informed us that the cleaning service quit (he did not contact us ahead of when we were checking in) but he said he would refund the cleaning fee and one night's charge if we did the work. He has failed to repay us! I would not recommend this house/owner to anyone.

Clean and spacious
One issue that the owner can’t control was Garbage trucks starting at 5 AM on a Thursday and continued for a couple of hours. The house was clean with enough room for 5 of us that were attending our oldest son’s wedding. Biggest issue for us was the use of plastic mattress cover that crinkled every time you rolled over and since your skin can’t breathe we sweated even in a cool room. A cotton mattress pad on top would be great.

Cute home, pretty dirty
I hate leaving bad reviews but I feel like other should have an accurate picture of the listing. We found it to e very dirty. Hair in the bath tubs and on beds. The walls were very dirty. It looked very lived in with no professional cleaning. The other very annoying issue was that we got there at 11:00 pm after an eight hour delay with our flight and the house was 80+ degrees because the air was off,and it took hours to cool down. All we wanted to do was sleep after a really long day and it was impossible with the heat. There were fans in the room but they were caked with dust and felt gross to turn on. Just not a very pleasant experience.

Perfect Family Retreat: A Comfortable and Well-Appointed Home Base
Our stay at the "Zen Den" was delightful! Traveling with three adults and two children (aged 4 and 11), we found the house to be a perfect retreat after our busy days exploring. While we didn't spend much time indoors, the space exceeded our expectations in every way. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring we all had restful nights. We were pleasantly surprised by the provided bathroom amenities and the thoughtful selection of kitchen supplies that made meal prep convenient. The "Zen Den" truly offered a relaxing and welcoming environment to come back to each evening. Highly recommended for families seeking a comfortable and well-appointed home base for their adventures!

Close to Everything!
We very much enjoyed the peaceful nature of the Zen Den. Clean, easy access, plenty of supplies. We were there for a Memorial Service in Forest Grove. We were close to every venue which was helpful because we had traveled far to attend. Definitely would stay there again. There actually was some confusion on whether or not the house was what we needed. Every description we could find, was different than what we found. While we were there, 3 bedrooms with a queen bed so beds for 6; 2 1/2 baths; a one car driveway. (The garage was not for use.) Some street parking available. The host was easy to communicate with and was kind.

Rainy week in Forest Grove
We had the pleasure of staying at the town home in Forest Grove for one of the wettest weeks on record. Facilities were excellent! I would recommend bringing your own pillow. I guess I’m a bit like Goldilocks, but never could find one just right. Easy location to get to. Quiet residential neighborhood. Thursday is trash day. This is an excellent value and well worth the money. New home feel.

Forest Grove Getaway
We celebrated my dad’s 68th birthday by wine tasting in the area. The property was perfect for our needs. The host communication was excellent and check in was a breeze. Each room was cozy and comfortable. My husband and I shared the master with our 4 year old son who slept on a portable bed on the floor. It’s very spacious. Lots of extra blankets, sheets, towels etc. The closet had lots of hangers and storage racks so we could put our things away. My parents took the other two rooms and were very comfortable. There are TVs in every room. It was also nice to have a full size washer and dryer and an upstairs loft area with lots of space. My son enjoyed playing up there. The downstairs area was nice to gather in the mornings and evenings. Having the half bath down there was great too. The kitchen was well stocked. We didn’t do any cooking but had we done so it seems it would have been easy to do. It was also nice to have a filtered water pitcher in the fridge. The property is in an area with new homes and it was easy to walk our dog and there were playgrounds down the street. There was one driveway parking spot but plenty of street parking too. We really liked the fact that the downtown area was less than 5 minutes away. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Also most wineries and breweries we visited were less than 25 min in various directions. We would definitely stay here again.
