Excellent Location but very old unit

Apartment is old, probably built in 70’s and could do with a revamp as it’s very tired looking.

Terrible apartment in a prime location
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe originally booked Oceanic 26 for three nights, but decided to shorten our stay due to the poor condition of the apartment. The apartment was generally unclean (e.g. dirty floors and windows, smell of mould and dead cockroaches in the kitchen cupboards), the furniture mouldy and rusty, the decor outdated, minimal kitchen amenities (e.g. no wine glasses and coffee plunger), broken/missing lamps, and limited heating options in the middle of winter. Despite not being listed as part of the property amenities, it is disappointing to not have a WiFi and dishwasher at the price point of approximately $300 per night. It is a real shame because the location is excellent and the view of the beach from the balcony is quite beautiful. The property manager was relatively responsive in addressing our concerns and assisted us in finding a (less than optimal) resolution. Should the above issues not be addressed, we would not recommend staying in this apartment, especially with very young kids like we have.

Property is in a fantastic position across from the beach. Great views. The property is a little dated but very functional. Decent kitchen though there is a cockroach issue.
Easy walk to plenty of eating options and a short stagger home from the pub. No wifi is a negative.

Ocean view stay

Great beach location
Publié le 21 févr. 2023 sur HomeAwayPerfect location in Forster. Basically on the beach, 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops, lots of walking tracks and ocean baths close by. Had a great family holiday in this apartment.
