Would not recommend. 1. Placed an unauthorized hold on the card (whatever hotels do this all the time) still waiting to get it back. 2. Shower curtain had black gunk all over it 3. Breakfast disgusting. The sausage had slime on it. Breakfast starts at 6, went at 7 and there was no food. They don’t clean the tables during time either and there’s only 3-4 tables. 4. TV didn’t work. Thankfully had a fire stick with us, but couldn’t turn the tv off once it was on and couldn’t adjust volume with tv remote or the tv itself. Had to use fire stick. 5. A/C kept shutting off. Would run for 2-5 then off. Made the room pretty warm and stuffy. 6. A constant ringing could be heard both mornings we were there. We had to leave just to get away from it. 7. Hot tub broken. Honestly, I get it’s a 3 star hotel, but it was a terrible experience. There were 3 people working and guests had to wipe off breakfast tables to sit? They weren’t that busy and the breakfast area is in the lobby across from the desk and they weren’t busy. The only good thing was the area. Plenty to do around the hotel.

Hi Jordan, I'm very sorry for the cleanliness and maintenance issues in your room and that your breakfast experience wasn't up to our standards. I will review your comments with our housekeeping staff to ensure they are looking for and reporting these issues so we can fix them prior to guests checking in. I will also discuss your comments about breakfast with the staff members who were working to ensure they are wiping tables in a timely manner. We will be beginning a full renovation soon and during that time the area where the hot tub is will be transitioned into a workout area. This is why we do not advertise that we have a hot tub anymore.Incidental holds are explained on your confirmation email and are not unauthorized. The hold typically takes 3-5 business days to drop off and since you were just with us over this past weekend it may take a few more days.

Stayed with our grandkids. They enjoyed the nice pool, comfy beds, and breakfast. Great value for the money

We stay at this hotel whenever we return to Decatur. The building is now in need of updating /rennovations. But it is clean/quiet/safe. Staff are always professional and welcoming.

Nice room. Very nice breakfast. Overall the facility was clean and well maintained. Only issue was the room above us had people that came in at 1:30 am and stomped around so much it woke us up. Beds were comfy. Big pillows. Soft towels and good shower items. We will stay there again.
