We were only there for a night on our long road trip home, but we had a great stay— it was quiet, clean, comfortable, and the perfect spot to rest for the night with our newborn baby and elderly dog. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay in the future. Thank you!

They had issues on their end resolved before I even knew there was an issue - apparently they had overbooked and in doing so simply upgraded me before I got there so as to accommodate all I had requested!! Later helped me to find what I needed locally and were very knowledgeable of the area. They really summed up my trip PERFECTLY!!!

I like Surf Motel, even though it does not have an ocean view, because it is reasonably priced, well-maintained, and the central garden area gives it a special, homey feel. Traffic noise is not a consideration, and the location is convenient to Fort Bragg's features and very close to the harbor.

When I checked in I was given room (#134) which was absolutely unacceptable. The carpet was stained, one of the pieces of furniture look like a dog had chewed it and the smelled musty. I immediately asked for another room #140 which was only marginally better. I would not recommend this place to anyone !

Disappointing
First off the room that they gave my was not cleaned from the previous people so they had to find us another room. So the next room someone wiped the toilet seat and left hair all over it or the room was not even cleaned, the shower door leaked water onto the floor so we had to throw towels down, the bed was just awful hard as a rock one Sid of the bed was so broken down when my husband sat down he said he felt like he was going to slide right off, no checkout instructions, so we took the key card back up to the office and the guy who was working was not friendly he just said leave it there. I’ve stayed here once before and had a good experience but this time it was not good I will be staying at another hotel.

Was happily surprised at the breakfast options which we did not expect. With food prices rather high in this coastal community helped our budget to not need to purchase breakfast. We were placed in the rear of the property with the gardens between our room and the street. Was thrilled to see solar panels on the roof. The location was convenient and the property very accessible for seniors.We enjoyed our stay.

I've stayed at this hotel before and never had any problems but this time we got a room I went to use a towel and it was rolled up with all the other towels but it was wet. Also the room didn't have any toilet paper which was inconvenient because I didn't realize it until it was to late also there was no real blanket on the beds it was a sheet and a topper sheet. Disappointed in this stay
